As we had a baby with us, we were more limited in activities, and this is pretty much the only museum in Government Camp. I love local museums because you really get a good sense of the area's culture and history. However, as this area...More

Nice little museum in government camp Oregon. It's small but houses a lot of information about mount hood over the decades. The staff is knowledgeable and offers a lot of history. Good place to explore on a rainy day

It is worth a visit both to get info and directions and learn about local history through the interesting exhibits and a few curious Mt. Hood collections that are carefully maintained.

Toured this in our trip to the mountain. This was our first experience and was really positive. The volunteer was informative and friendly. She even had her grandson there that day and he was keeping the sidewalks shoveled. This was a neat museum.
