This was our favorite vineyard of the three we stopped at in Forest Grove. It was clean, beautiful, and offered reds and whites to choose from in your tasting. We enjoyed our time there and the view. We went on a Monday when they first opened which was perfect as we were able to spend plenty of time talking and... More

I had the opportunity to visit the winery with a local friend. It is situated on a small hill above Forest Grove, Oregon. The surroundings are lovely and the view to the vast vineyards amazing, with leaves changing colors. Mount Hood is also visible in the distance. The main building is very historic, built in 1883, and the first plants... More

Couldn't end Summer in the Pacific Northwest better, and visiting David Hill Winery was definitely a great choice. The choices for wine tasting is amazing, and at a reasonable price too. We came on a nice sunny day, but looking at the tasting room (in a house setting), I am very sure that it's really comfortable on a rainy day... More

Lovely winery in idyllic setting amongst the rolling hills of the Oregon countryside not a far drive from either Portland or Cannon Beach. Great selection of wines and very nice staff helping you taste their offerings.

In addition to their delicious wine, their tasting room, vineyards, and picnic groups are gorgeous. We hosted a birthday party there and it was the perfect location. They were wonderful hosts and we appreciated learning about their different wines, while we celebrated our friend's birthday. Be sure to use their tasting menu and compare each of the wines. I am... we decided to visit here a few months ago because it was listed on our passport. We were impressed with the setting - the tasting room is in a nice old farm style house surrounded by vineyards, which you can take a walk through. it's very clean and spacious, but both times we visited it was very busy and it... Beautiful vineyard situated in a valley with gorgeous views. On a clear day there are ample picnic tables situated around the tasting room/house for you to sip your wine & enjoy a snack or even a picnic. The staff is friendly & the pours are generous for the tasting. Something for everyone- great Pinot Gris & a divine Pinot Noir... More

It's a bit out of the way to get to David Hill but it's a beautiful scenic drive. The property is beautiful with vines rolling over hills all around the little country farmhouse that is their tasting room. I really liked the Farmhouse Red blend.

Expecting to find the winery not too far off the initial turnoff, my daughter and I almost gave up and turned around, after a long winding drive. I am so glad we didn't. The views are absolutely incredible, with long rows of planted grapevines overlooking a valley against a mountainous backdrop. The tasting room is in a cheerful yellow farmhouse... More
