Much like forest grove itself, it hasn't seen a paint job in forty years, but that being said this was the tallest barber pole I've ever seen. Could have done without all the kids playing soccer a bit noisy. Would recommend going early to avoid the crowds. Parking was a mess.

Just okay ! Wandering the neighborhood and found it… what a sight for sore eyes. Just goes up and up.

Interesting, along with the plaque that explains it’s purpose. Interesting other plaques along a path nearby. Can’t say that we’d recommend this site to anyone.

Ok, it is a large telephone pole painted as a barber pole. Not worth the time. I just happened to be driving near by. There are much better things to do in Forest Grove than this.........

This pole is close to home and marks a good place to catch local teams play soccer. 72 ft tall and well kept, it stands guard all year.

That's it - a giant barber pole. It's not interesting, it's not worth going out of your way for. It's not even outrageously kitschy enough to be funny. It's... it's a giant barber pole.

It's ball less...Barber Poles should have a ball at the top, this one is ball less. So it's wood painted red white and blue.

The Barber Pole is 72 feet tall and colored red, white and blue. I have enjoyed several Barber Shop Pole visits in recent years. I would highly recommend bringing a camera and staying for at least five minutes. If you are are a Forest Grove resident yourself, bring your out-of-state family and friends when they come to visit. This is a unique landmark, and a visit to it makes for a wonderful family photo and a story to share with your friends.

About as exciting as looking at a telephone pole. The only reason to see it is to say that you saw it.

Very close to Pacific University. It's also located right outside of Lincoln Park. The parking area is small but the field is well kept. Just happened to drive by and noticed the tall barber pole.
