I've always enjoyed crafting, but find that my creative juices flow better when there are others to encourage me or say "hey, that looks great!" The Mustard Seed is a perfect place to enjoy the day scrapbooking, learn new things--crochet, knit, cupcake decorating, or just relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend or with my journal. The Mustard Seed has an inviting, peaceful atmosphere and a welcoming proprietor.
As a single person, I love that there is a place I can bring my own project and work on it alongside others for a nominal fee and have snacks and inspiration around me. It's also a great way to get a group of friends together (or just make new friends) and have fun without worrying whether my own house is clean, too. ;-)
Whether you are a local or just visiting for a day or a week, The Mustard Seed is definitely a place to go and be inspired!!
