Great Friendly place - CLEAN and inviting -I go as often as I can! Place to sit and meet friends -visit before or after movie. I love the place and owner only makes it better and more inviting. Owner works and help the community with free movies. Kids and adults feel welcome.

wow!! am so glad that Michael from city lights had the courage and balls to show this excellent and relevant and important film.. I see that other towns wasnt showing it... very similar to the doc about Paul Stamets and mushrooms.. He was way ahead of getting that film before even santa rosa in CA!!! so not only the theaters are clean and the food is wonderful and everything is so clean and the films are a spattering of the population.. Thanks for having a diversity of films and even documentaries...

Love This Theater....Great small town unique theater. Great facility, lots of choices for snacks and Freshly Popped Popcorn! New measures were done to make it safe an clean during this Covid 19 time. They removed every other row of seats and put in tables. It looks great and more room to move around. Not crowded whatsoever. Each theater showing has a small table at entrance with Hand Sanitizer...good move!
Lovely spot...help keep it open by donating either at their Website, or Facebook, they now have a GOFUNDME page! Anything would be greatly appreciated by the entire town. We want this little jewel to remain in business. Thanks...Pam

City Lights is a small privately owned 4 screen theater that shows new releases, independent movies and special screenings. When was the last time you had popcorn with real butter. If you are a movie buff they offer an annual membership that provides discounts and first access to special events.

Thank you, banjowine! This is all true. We only use real butter for our popcorn here and we offer an annual membership that can save on ticket prices, popcorn, performing arts events and merchandise!

City Lights is run by a real film buff. The lobby is nicely decorated with posters and photos from film's golden era. Good candy selection along with popcorn. Wine available. Quality films and features like the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts.

A perfect, cheap, and fun way to go to the theater! Super cheap membership. Amazing experience. Clean rooms. Always worth every penny when I go. 10/10

Love this small theater. Owners are often available for a chat before the movie. Lots of drink choices of drinks, including several flavors of hard cider.

You don't have to be a Jedi Warrior or a lover of great documentaries to love City Lights Cinemas. The atmosphere, the welcoming owner and greeters, the popcorn which is good enough to live for, and the selection of movies makes this one of the gems of the Oregon coast.

This is a very nice theater & I would highly recommend an evening out there. It’s nice that you can also purchase your tickets prior to the movie so no waiting 👍
