This is a great park with lots of directions to walk and explore both the main rhododendron gardens, the wider park, and surrounding neighborhoods. A Eugene staple.

Hendricks is an island of nature in the residential area close to the university. One side of the park is a beautiful hike through Rhododendrons and azaleas. The other is a series of easy to difficult trails. We never get tired of the hikes.

They have a wonderful Rhody garden although it was not in bloom when we were here. Nice walking trails and beautiful views along the road. There is a shelter for a picnic too.
