Open Saturdays 10-5 from April-mid November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States.

Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. Jewelers, potters, seamstresses, candle makers, glass workers and many more bring their arts to sell. The International Food Court features seventeen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, including burritos, pad thai, pizza and cheesecake. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians playing everything from original folk to jazz, Celtic music to rock-and-roll all day long. Lane County Farmers' Market is just across the street each Saturday. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible.

It was my first time visiting downtown Eugene. What a jewel in the downtown core. The market was well well organized and I could not get away with all the artsy people and their varied booths. I loved the drummers and dancers and don't know how much cannabis I inhaled just passing through their area lol. Great atmosphere and everybody... More

(Disclaimer- I live here and have been going for years!). Saturday Market has been running since May, 1970 and proves to be a draw- rain or shine- every weekend from opening day in April to late October when it moves indoor for Holiday Markets. Visitors will find numerous craft stalls on the downtown blocks and a dedicated Farmers Market that... More

We had a great time walking around and checking out all the hand made crafts, jewelry, soaps and clothes. There's a food court in the middle with plenty of yummy choices. There's also a farmers market section with produce etc. Something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Loved the way they had everything separated on the different corners. Tried the Thai food and it was very very good better than most restaurants

Was taken down to the market to show us how Eugene lives, and wow, do they live. The farmers market portion is amazing - a extensive variety of local fruits and vegetables along with local baked goods. The aromas coming from the food court were amazing. There is such a variety of cuisine from around the world. There were also... More
