Open Saturdays 10-5 from April-mid November. Each Saturday Lane County's favorite artisans, chefs and musicians bring their creations to Saturday Market, Eugene's weekly open-air Marketplace, creating a vibrant event that nurtures local commerce and community. Founded in May of 1970, Eugene's Saturday Market is Oregon's original Saturday Market, and the oldest weekly open-air crafts festival in the United States.

Wander among the 200 booths filled with fine handcrafts, always sold by the artisans themselves. Jewelers, potters, seamstresses, candle makers, glass workers and many more bring their arts to sell. The International Food Court features seventeen food booths serving a wide array of foods prepared fresh on site, including burritos, pad thai, pizza and cheesecake. The Market Stage showcases local and regional musicians playing everything from original folk to jazz, Celtic music to rock-and-roll all day long. Lane County Farmers' Market is just across the street each Saturday. Two nearby parking structures provide plenty of free parking, and the area is fully wheelchair accessible.

The "farmers market" part is smaller than some other Saturday markets I've seen, but I've never seen more consistently attractive offerings. Mouthwatering, really. I think every vendor was certified organic, and finding vendors of "pastured" pork is really unusual. There were a vast array of artisans from the quirky to really high quality. The food offerings are diverse, but on... More

My husband and I were in Eugene visiting his mom and she recommended the Saturday market. It's so much bigger than we expected. A whole city block worth of fresh fruits and veggies and so many crafts. Many talented artisans and if you're looking for some unique jewelry this is a great affordable place. Of course, great people watching as... More

Lots of unique art and clothing, perfect for spending an afternoon browsing. The food smelled good, but lots of fried foods, something I can no longer eat. The produce was to die for!!

It was my first time visiting downtown Eugene. What a jewel in the downtown core. The market was well well organized and I could not get away with all the artsy people and their varied booths. I loved the drummers and dancers and don't know how much cannabis I inhaled just passing through their area lol. Great atmosphere and everybody... More

(Disclaimer- I live here and have been going for years!). Saturday Market has been running since May, 1970 and proves to be a draw- rain or shine- every weekend from opening day in April to late October when it moves indoor for Holiday Markets. Visitors will find numerous craft stalls on the downtown blocks and a dedicated Farmers Market that... More

This is a great market! There's a block of food vendors, a couple of blocks of craft vendors. Several musicians, dancers, artist, and a food court. It's a safe, clean, nice outdoor market. I am from the South, and I was blown away by all the organic products, and the really high quality of everything. It's worth an hour or... More
