A hike to the top can be a work out depending on which trail up you pick. We picked the shorter trail to the summit, however, it was steep and challenging and a couple of times we mistakenly got off the trail. watch for the trail markers. This seems to be a popular place for getting outside. There were several... More

I go up to hike this mountain at least if not more than once a week. It is a vigorous walk and full of life. I like to go with my friends and take the time to get a visit in as well as some great exercise. By the time you hike from the lower backside up to the top... More

Bucolic setting; excellent facilities [restrooms, parking, picnic shelter]; the ideal place to hike, or just sit and enjoy the beauty that nature has to offer.

This hike was a lot of fun. Be warned trail one is a bit steep to the top, but once you get there the view is spectacular.

The trail starts off pretty steep but boy does it feel good. If you need a quick, fairly intense 2 mile-ish workout this is your spot. You can also take it slow, or even take the separate path around the back which is not as steep and a longer hike. There is a bench about halfway up for a resting... More

We took the hike up the summit on a sunny day in the 80's. All of us are reasonably fit older adults, but have to admit the amount of elevation that you cover makes the work up harder than the distance would suggest. Through the hike there are plenty of stopping opportunities to enjoy the vistas, to include some benches.... More

I really do enjoy a hike up Mt. Pisgah. On a clear day, you can see many of the cascades, and at sunset, they glow orange which is just spectacular. On my last hike (August 2016), the whole mountain was covered with blackberries which was a lovely treat for the trips up and down. If you're in the know, there's... More

I recommend the trails and arboretum of Mount Pisgah to anyone wishing to reconnect with the natural unspoiled beauty of a begone Oregon era. Enjoy abundant wildlife, mountain meadows and grazing pastures, while taking in the 'old growth' fir and ceder populated hillside walking trails and riverbanks. truly a million miles away, yet minutes from downtown Eugene. Find walking trails... More

Great place to make love, just watch out for the poison oak. Youch! Got it in some weird places, if you know what I mean. Wonderful view of the valley, reasonable hike. Definitely check out the tribute from Ken Kesey atop to his son Jed.

It was quite sunny on the day my brother and I went hiking at Mount Pisgah, but the trail was so beautiful. It was not crowded either, so we were able to take our time to take some wonderful photos.
