We went to studio West with friends. We had varying degrees of artistic talent. Ciara’s super power is being able to give just the right amount of guidance and instruction for the individual she’s working with while keeping her comments relevant and interesting for the group.

Each of the members in our group were led through the steps necessary to create a glass ornament with the assistance of the facilitator. A great introduction to the art of glass blowing!

We went to a group class and I took a friend from out of town and it was awesome! Alejandro is so friendly and does a great job making everyone feel welcome and answered all our questions with enthusiasm and good humor. I definitely will be going back! Don’t miss out!

I was visiting my son who had recently moved to Eugene and we signed up for a glass blowing class. It was the perfect way for a casual introduction to my sons new girlfriend who we invited to join us. We all LOVED the class, the casual atmosphere, the teacher let us change our mind as to what we signed up for and what we ended up making. The class is a great value considering what a beautiful piece of artwork that you make. You are able to pick your project up the next day, unlike many similar artistic workshops. Perfect Afternoon!

We have often stared in fascination at blown glass in stores and art galleries and watched as glassblowers blow and shape and now we have created our own work of art. From the basics of molten glass to shaping in the furnace to adding our choice of colors to more swirling in the furnace to shaping and blowing as the glass cools to the final touches. We will always remember the experience and treasurer our very own creation.
