Pre's trail is flat and mostly dirt/wood chip trails along the river. It is a pleasant and easy run. Even early in the morning or towards sunset, there seemed to be others on the trail (safety in numbers). Also, I noted several light poles so...More

We hardly miss a day, at any time of the year, making sure to take a walk on Pre's trail. The runners don't mind us, and the geese have learned to move aside.

Loved running this trail. It’s so soft (made of bark) and feels nostalgic running in the footsteps of greatness.

This is a well maintained beautiful trail. Walk or run on soft bark or choose the parallel paved biking trail. Lots of water views along the Willamette river. Lots of trail options and well worth taking a walk here.

Very popular running trail and convenient access from the new EVEN hotel by IHG. I enjoyed taking in a run along this trail and there is plenty to see and explore. Definitely recommend.

Pre's Trail is named after the famed runner, Steve Prefontaine. It is such a great running trail which meanders through lush trees and it relatively flat. The wood chip trail is great on the knees and hips. Perfectly located between the University and Autzen Stadium...More
