quiet, serene, helpful, friendly staff, Food is great but expensive. Can only go there 3.5 months out of the year due to snow but the fish are wild and grow 8.5 months of the year undisturbed, they get big and fat. Worth the short drive.

My husband and I visited Fish lake resort last week. It was our first time at this lake. Originally I booked one of the rustic cabins for 4 nights, but found some issues when we checked in. The owners responded to our issues right away and made every effort to make rest of our stay as comfort as possible which included moving us to a bigger and better cabin for the price of the rustic cabin.
They were very apologetic and checked up with us several times to make sure everything is well. I don't remember their names, but my husband and I are very pleased with their service and want to thank them.
Beautiful lake and the weather was perfect!

The worst Vacation ever. It's not a cabin, IT'S A Shack!!! All furniture was wore out with stains. The bed had a piece Of plywood under the mattress. The toilet did not flush. Holes in the window screens. The windows did not lock. Spiders as big as half dollars, inside and out. They need lots & lots of work. If they are to stay this way the price should be about a forth of the price. For the price we paid, we could of stayed at five star hotel. Was not happy and still not. I've told everybody I know, and will still tell people not to go. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!

GREAT location, lovely lake, good hiking trails, friendly people, easy drive to other regional sights, such as Crater Lake and regional rivers.

The RV park was wonderful. We had a lake side spot among the trees. The area was very clean and the owners were very friendly. The lake is beautiful and offers docks for boats and a lot of walking trails. Very peaceful and relaxing. They had full hook ups at a reasonable price.

We pulled in and we're worried that with the lack of trees and proximity of neighbors it'd be loud, but we had a very private, quiet, excellent weekend. It's beautiful here and the lodge with restaurant is great. New young couple own the place and they're doing a great job! Club sandwich is the best club around..cooked by owners wife! Expected it to be average at best and we were so pleasantly surprised!!

This campground caters to everyone! From the smallest fish in the pond, to the "Big daddy"! Individuals just wanting some peace and quiet, to large groups reuniting with family and friends.
You can bring your own boat, canoe, patio boat, or rent one at the marina.
The Lodge is a cozy place to hang out, when you aren't out on the lake or hiking the trails nearby) and houses the cafe (there is something for everyone on the menu), the store, gift shop, and game/entertainment room.
The cabins are quaint and cozy. We stayed in #1 and the view from 1, 2, and 3 is lovely. The lake was a little green because of all the pollen, but still beautiful.
It was built in the 20s. We love places with some rich history. Many of the guests return year after year, so if you want to know more about the park, just ask them. :)

We camped here with our travel trailer in June 2013 and returned just to kayak and eat lunch in July 2013. Both times we had a wonderful time! The RV campsites on the lake are beautiful and have full hooks ups- electric, sewer and water. Each site has a campfire and picnic table. Most of the lakeside sites are very well shaded- we stayed at #1 which is bright and sunny. Just beautiful! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We made reservations by email on the internet, which was very convenient.
The Tadpole Cafe has a beautiful outdoor deck with a wonderful view of the lake. The food was good and the menu has a wide variety. They also have a little store with necessities for camping...including ice.
We loved paddling around the lake in our kayaks. The views are gorgeous and you can see Mt. McLoughlin very clearly. We like Fish Lake because although bigger boats are permitted on the lake it has a 10 MPH limit.
We also enjoyed walking on the trails around the resort. It's very quiet and peaceful.
We liked the fact that we could bring our Yorkie with us to camp- there was a small dog fee, but it's a great place for pets to accompany you on your trip!
Fish Lake Resort also has cabins and tent sites available. The tent sites are in well shaded areas with huge pine trees. There are lots of very clean restrooms with showers, toilets, sinks and laundry available. They also have a dump station if you are dry camping in the RV.
The RV sites were all well situated with lots of space for even the largest RV. Additional parking for extra cars is situated very close to each site.
We are planning another trip in the fall for a week!
