Set along a country road only a mile off Highway 62, Agate Ridge Winery epitomizes the small family wineries for which Southern Oregon has become more famous over the last few years. A converted 100+ year old farmhouse offers a folksy reception amid acres of well tended grapes and the mix of crisp whites and robust reds offers an experience... More

My friends and I went to Agate Ridge and enjoyed a couple bottles of wine in front of of lovely fire, with some nice nibbles to celebrate my birthday. It was great.

The tasting room is in an old homestead farmhouse property, with very friendly and casual service. They make very good red wines and some interesting white blends and varietals. The outdoor concerts in the summer are very nice and wine club members can reserve a table for picnics. The owners are often on-site and are very personable and engaging. Highly... More

Love this place. Took an old house and land and turned it into a wonderful, quaint vineyard and tasting room

I remember going here years ago and the wines were not good. Over the past 2-3 years that changed pretty dramatically. I've had some of their wines that were even awesome. 😱 Add live music and you've got a really great place to hang with friends. I highly recommend.

It's official, after trying every wine at every local vineyard (I know, work, work, work) I'm ready to declare my favorite: Agate's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon. My wife and I are incredibly fortunate to have such great vineyards just minutes from our home, but Kim and her people have put together what is for me, the perfect Cab. Combine that with... More

This is very close to our home and live to go in the summer, sit on the grass, sipping great wine & listening to very good musicians. The owner, Kim, has made a remarkable venue that is close to home & a great way to spend a summer evening.

They have decent wines, but they are not my favorites. Tasting room is OK, but it doesn't have the ambience of many others in the area. Wasn't as friendly and welcoming as some others.

Their Petite Sirah is one of our favorites! They have a new winemaker as of 2011, so we hope for more good wine!

Because Agate Ridge has such a great relaxed atmosphere with nice staff, great wine and a large relaxing yard area, we have chosen this spot for large parties. They always make it fun and easy!
