Argyle Winery crafts award-winning Sparkling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling wines that command a place on the world stage while retaining the very essence of our home in Oregon's Willamette Valley. No other American winery but Argyle has earned recognition in Wine Spectator's "Top 100 Wines of the World" in three wine categories: red, white and sparkling.

Take an old fashioned paper world map, or for those too young to remember what those are, just go onto google maps and find the Willamette Valley in Oregon just south of Portland. Then if you have the old paper map lay down a ruler and draw a line straight across the map. If using google it can get tricky... More

Their tasting room is beautiful- part of their old production facility, it is now open and modern, with the outside coming in. They also have a large covered outdoor area. We went later in the day, and it was not crowded at all. They have several vintages that have been cellared if you are interested in past years or older... More

We stopped at Argyle right as they opened at 11. The staff was ready no waiting while they got everything organized. The tasting room is very light and has a large bar to stand at. There also is a large outside area with tables,it was overcast the day we were there. The lady that did our tasting was very friendly... More

Argyle is one of those must-see wineries in the Dundee area! They are well-known for their bubbly, but their Chardonnay and Pinot Noirs are also good (though oakier than others in the area). They have a 4-5 oz. drink limit at Argyle, so you can order wine by the glass or by the flight (1 oz. pours). The experience here... More

The building looks like a hardware store but the whole tasting experience was very pleasant. We had some specific tasting requests and they fit our desires into an interesting comparison to some other wines.

I went to this winery while on a winery-hop visit to Dundee. The decor and atmosphere of the tasting room and outdoor area immediately draw you in, and invite you to stay. The staff is very friendly, not pushy and very knowledgable about the flights or single glasses to order or Taste. I personally had the bubbly flight and greatly... More

Really enjoyed the bubble flight tastings; great atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. Don't miss this stop on your wine tour. Delicious!

I love the new facility. Not sure why so many seem to complain that it feels "to Napa" It's a beautiful space with a great outdoor patio and an excellent, friendly staff. One of the things I appreciate is that it's easy to get to. Convenient to stop by for an hour or so in the afternoon (we drive out... More

This remind me more of a Napa destination than a true Oregon wine experience. Big glitzy tasting room, lots of so so wines. Great for the tourist who doesn't want to venture off the main road, everyone else look elsewhere.

My wife loves champagne. So we "had" to go. And they "had" to sell us on membership. We bought four bottles at $50 each, but the pressure of them selling their club took the tasting buzz away. No. We did not join. But might have under less pressure.
