The trip from Portland, OR to Dufur was filled with many vistas and waterfalls. It was beautiful. We saw some of the biggest waterfalls I have ever seen.

The part of the Pacific Crest trail that passes Bend is close enough to the highway for anyone to get to on a day hike. Beautiful, rugged, worth the trouble.
