We saw two whales, the captain knew just where to go, the crew was attentive and helpful. Price was fair and the trip lots of fun for all.

We chose this group because we weren't comfortable taking young children and older adults on some of the small boats that offer whale watching. Tradewinds has some good size boats that offered a comfortable trip for an extended family to watch the whales. We had...More

Decided to do the 1 hour whale watching tour. The captain and deck hand were friendly and knowledgeable. Within 5 minutes of leaving the harbor we were seeing whales. I would definitely recommend this charter

Our 2 adult daughters did the short whale watching trip and enjoyed it even though rain started near the end of the trip. Dress appropriately and you should have no problems. Comments about the stairs - It's a long way

We had a great time on this two hour cruise searching for California Gray Whales. Our clever Captain and first mate found several and they were expert at trolling along to keep pace and also not to disturb the whales. Dress in layers, long pants,...More

November can be kinda late for seeing whales in Oregon; most go farther south for the winter. But there are usually a few that stick around the central Oregon coast for the winter. The folks at Tradewinds were great to work with, including the lady...More

Thank you for the question. At this time Fish and Wildlife has not given dates for this fishery. In previous years this has been quite slow and possible may not have a season then. The best fishing may be Rock fishing... More
