We have gone out with Captain Eric several times and will only go with him from now on! We were put on a boat with Captain @$$ and he was rude to us and didn't act like he even wanted to be on his own boat! He cut our time short and the fishing sucked... I know that is not... More

What an amazing trip! We had a great week on the coast and this was easily my favorite part. I was a little unsure about taking our toddler out, but am so glad that we did. She was excited to see a whale up close and kept saying "Wow!" We were very fortunate to have great weather and lots of... More

First: If stairs are not in your plan...look elsewhere because there are a bunch of them! Other than that...we had a blast!!! Took us out to the bay, saw many whales up close and personal. Captain was great...(deckhand..not so much), There were 5 of us.....and we all had a blast! Was nice to be out on the water!

The crew was fabulous making the kids in the boat feel safe. I took my 7 year old on a mother son trip and there was another mother son with us. They set us up on the same side close together. Checked in on the kids regularly. Made sure they felt comfortable and safe. Reassured them. Captain engaged them as... More

Went in an excursion a couple of days ago. Overall pretty good. We saw multiple whales which was awesome. We left right on time I expected the captain to share a. little more information about the whales. Also if you go make sure you are on the right of the boat. The folks on that side had a much better... More

The weather was a typical Oregon Coast day....in the summer....misty, drizzeling, windy and a tad cold. Perfect for whale watching because the whale's love it in Depoe Bay. Just standing waiting for our turn to board the boat we saw a smaller grey whale swimming in the bay just below the parking. The charter was easy to find right off... More

Did a 6 pack (small boat) with my wife and 3 kids. Limited on crabs. Kids were able to catch quite a few fish themselves. Great experience for them as well as us. Motion sickness patches recommended if you sea sick.

Saw a whale, not too crowded. It was awesome! My family loved it-Tradewinds knows what they're doing. Once in a lifetime experience that I'll definitely do again.

Kids loved the boat ride and seeing all the whales. I thought this was a great value for an hours boat ride. $38 for adult and 2 kids plus my 4 year old was free. You can probably see the whales from the shore too but we got close and they loved finding them all. Water was choppy and it... More

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! This has to be one of the funnest whale watching trips I have been on. It was an hour long, but it was amazing. The day was absolutely perfect! The weather was not too hot and not too cold. The ocean was calm with some big swells that made being out to sea so exciting. The captain... More
