Kids loved the boat ride and seeing all the whales. I thought this was a great value for an hours boat ride. $38 for adult and 2 kids plus my 4 year old was free. You can probably see the whales from the shore too but we got close and they loved finding them all. Water was choppy and it... More

OH MY GOSH!!!!!! This has to be one of the funnest whale watching trips I have been on. It was an hour long, but it was amazing. The day was absolutely perfect! The weather was not too hot and not too cold. The ocean was calm with some big swells that made being out to sea so exciting. The captain... More

We did indeed see whales, which was the primary objective of the trip, but the captain did not provide very much information on whales, other animals in the area or surrounding geography. We have gone on similar tours out of the Boston area and the trip was fascinating as the captain shared insights throughout the trip. Trade winds was primarily... More

My boys loved this experience and is the only event they continue to talk about from out vacation. It was incredible to see a baby humpback.

Friendly crew, nice boat and saw a whale! Trip was short (only an hour) but as it only cost $20 it was pretty good value. The whale was so close to the bay though that it really didn't matter! We were slightly off season, so didn't see the migrations, but even off season they normally have a small resident population... More

We did this trip today during our stay in Lincoln City. We did the hours trip , and we didn't head too far out from the Harbour as there was a male Whale swimming close to the shore. He was the only one we saw , but it was worth it. This place apparently has resident Whales and Sea lions... More

After lunch at the Sea Hag, we chartered a whale watching tour. We saw many whales and watched as they swam near our boat. The trip was a full hour and very informative. The crew gave detailed information about the whales and their eating habits. I have no pictures of the whales, but the Harbor Seals are too fun.

Simply put, we had a wonderful time, we seen a couple whales on our hour tour. Two of them happened to be a mother and her baby. Even though I got seasick from the waves about 40 minutes in, I still had a wonderful time, I wasn't able to get any pictures of the whales though :(. Lots of steps... More

I booked a charter with Tradewinds Charters and sailed on the Sunrise with Captain Craig and shipmate "JR". I enjoyed the trip so much, I am going out with this boat again in two days. JR was a hard-working mate keeping up with a boat full of fishermen and women. It was probably even more impressive that we limited out... More

Great trip on the boat. Reasonable price for whale watching. Can be a bit choppy going in and out of harbour but only lasts a couple of minutes. Worth it for the experience even if you don't so any whales which we didn't on our second trip out.
