    Archery Summit Wine Tasting
We loved our visit to Archery Summit. The "cave" wine tasting venue was spectacular, even though the staff kept apologizing for being "under construction". Our host was Grayson Crosier, who was very courteous, knowledgeable and engaging. The wine was excellent and we left with a few bottles.
Thank you for your kind words. We are looking forward to completing our construction project soon and showing off our new Tasting House. Come visit us in the future to see what we have been working on all year.

Beautiful wines. Beautiful views. Beautiful service.
To experience the best of Dundee, whether traveling from afar or as a local, Archery Summit is a stop not to be missed. The new tasting room space along with the historic wine caves showcase the wines and experience found only in Dundee, the heart of Oregon fine wines. The service has been consistently excellent as have their wines for over a decade. This is a place to take family, friends, clients, anyone who likes great Pinot's who you want to impress and enjoy your time with.

From cellar to patio to vino in your glass, Archery Summit provides an abundance of beauty
This beautiful winery recently completed an expansion of their tasting area. On a beautiful summer day, I can only imagine how magical it would be to sit out on the patio or in the light-filled reception area and sip wine. Given the gloomy weather on the day we visited, we were happily ensconced in the wine cellar. If you are thinking about visiting this winery, you are likely aware how wonderful their wines are. Rest assured, the wonder extends to a courteous and informed staff who provide guests with insight into the various terroirs that are home to the grapes.

    Shout out to Nick
Best winery of the day and only winery we purchased from. I don’t purchase wine as I’m a general manager at a winery and have access to the best of the best. Excellent service from Nick and beautiful surroundings. Add it to the top of list.

    Best winery in the area
I came here for my 21st birthday and when I say the whole place is amazing. There is a cave area or a patio style area to choose from. We chose the patio as it had amazing views of mount hood and the vineyard. We loved the wine and the staff so much my parents ended up joining the wine club and when I tell you the wine does not disappoint it will exceed your expectations. The girl that did our tasting was also wonderful and I loved how she went over in detail all the different aspects of each wine. We went to some other winery’s in the area that day as well and I can say without a doubt the energy of this winery topped off with the quality of wine/service you get is unmatched. I want to go back again like this weekend lol!

I fell in love with this winery, I became a member
I highly recommend to do the winery tour and see the caves, and hear about the history, and nit just wine tasting. Also, the cheese plate is excellent. The wine we tried with my comments: Chardonnay Dundee hills estate 2021 …. 89p (very good, not Oaked) I liked it but not to seek it Pinot 2022 renegade ridge vineyards… 87p (not impressed at all) Pinot 2022 Archer’s edge vineyards ….. 92p (yes a favorite. Would like to try 2021 vintage, which I purchased the last bottle in this winery’s inventory} Pinot 2021 red hills vineyards …. 93p (well structured, minerals and rose petal and orange zest) Cellar Selection: Pinot 2021 Archer’s Paradox …. 91p (100% stems/ cluster) different , very spicy, minerals and smells the stems. Not a favorite. Pinot 2021 Arcus vineyards….93p (very good, although Archer’s edge is my favorite)

winesMy wife and I sampled Archery Summits' Pinot Noir wines at our daughters home (she's a member of the winery). We were impressed with the wine and next day visited the winery. We enjoyed the scenic setting however enjoyed the wine tasting, knowledgeable and friendly service even more. We became members (April 2021) immediately. The winery staff has worked effectively to assure safe delivery of our shipments.

Archery Summit produces excellent pinot noirs and a fine chardonnay. The tasting room staff are knowledgeable and helpful. So far so good - but the tasting pricing and policy are over the top. The tasting fee is $50, high by Willamette Valley standards, and IS NOT waived with a wine purchase. And that fact is not advertised up front. This is a significant miscue on management's part and unlike their excellent wines, leaves a sour taste in one's mouth.

First off, Natasha was wonderful and gave us a great experience. We were disappointed in the cost of the tasting fee ($50/person) and that in order to have the tasting waived, you had to become a Club Member. The prices seem a bit outrageous, especially in comparison to other wineries in the valley. While the wine is lovely, we didn't find it good enough to suggest the costs. Disappointing to see that a long time Oregon winery is charging Napa prices.

I previously awarded 5 stars but two recent visits and home experience with wines I have held cause me to downgrade. 3.5* is my actual rating - just better than average.

They are still a lovely tour and have very nice staff. I have many AS wines at home and have had little to no development of the wines under strict, proper cellaring conditions. I have stopped buying their wines as they do not develop with aging.

I have also stopped buying their wines as they have evolved to a more commercial Carneros-CA style wine on release. This to me is unattractive and not worth purchasing or holding for my taste.

My wife and I were club members at Archery Summit several years ago. As with most of our club memberships, we collect more bottles of wine than we consume thus we change memberships to keep a well rounded cellar of wines. A month ago, we decided to revisit Archery Summit after enjoying a 2007 Arcus, one of our last remaining bottles in the cellar. We happily rejoined as members and the welcome back we received was fantastic. Yesterday, we enjoyed another tasting visit - orchestrated by Leah, we sampled a number of wines that reminded us again, how wonderful a great Pinot Noir from the Dundee Hills can be. Those like Archery Summit elevate this wonderful fruit to extraordinary levels.

Having made an appt last minute I was surprised and welcomed a call to offer a time slot for a wine tasting. Our greeting and help while tasting was excellent. We loved the higher end offerings of Pinot Noir and the attentiveness and selections made for us. We became members and look forward to enjoying good bottles of wine from Archery Summit. We were less impressed with the white wines.

Have been coming to this winery since its opening and its innovative techniques with winemaking. The wine cave and vineyard tours are great and the winemaker is amazing!.. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient with questions and sharing their expertise. Have been a club member and their events are outstanding, an excellent value besides fun. Love their sister winery events with California and Washington too! During Covid they were the best and so respectful to members and their guests and now things are back to normal.

Jarrod was our wine host. He was knowledgeable of the area and of course of the excellent selection of wines that we sampled. Archery Summit was one of the highlights of our trip to the Willamette Valley. We joined the wine club because of the excellent experience and great wine

While I have always been a fan of their wines, this was my first visit to Archery Summit in 20 years. Dropping in on Thanksgiving weekend was a gamble, but they took exceptional care of us. If you are in the area, I highly recommend adding Archery Summit to your list of winery stops!

We recently stopped by Archery Summit as part of a long day of tastings. The winery is on a high hill with breathtaking views, and the wine cave is even more impressive. We had a private tasting in the cave, and we were seated off to the side with our own little table. The server was very attentive and even brought a blanket for the cool air.

Unfortunately I was already burned out from tasting way too much wine. Good advice would be to schedule your tasting earlier in the day so that you can maximize the experience. Also there was a "false alarm" with a smoke detector that went off in the cave, forcing all of us to evacuate and continue the tasting outside on the patio.

I would definitely visit here again and give all of the Archery Summit wines another round of tasting.
