Stopped in for visit during the pandemic. We had a private tasting with Ed. We sampled 6 wines from 2 different appellations. We enjoyed them all. We were disappointed to not taste their French Pinots as a comparison to the Oregon Pinots but overall a good tasting. Nice tasting room.

Patrick greeted us at the front of the winery. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He did an amazing job explaining everything to us as we tasted the different wines. He was careful to listen to what we liked and what our experience was with each wine that we tasted. We absolutely loved everything that we tried. You cannot beat the gorgeous view from their deck. My husband and I had a fabulous time! Thank you!

Gorgeous location and well orchestrated SAFE wine tasting now that they've re-opened. Reservations are required, no tour is available, but a masked staff member will give you info, answer questions and bring small carafes of wine out to your well-distanced table on the patio. A delicious and relaxing hour or so after months of being locked up. We brought home a number of their wonderful wines.

We were looking for a safe place to taste Willamette Valley wines during this time of coronavirus. We were so very fortunate to find Domaine Drouhin. The staff followed all precautions to ensure the safety of their guests and themselves. Everything was impeccable. We were met at the entrance with a nicely chilled glass of rose. Then, we were escorted to our table on the patio. The staff welcomed our little dog with a bowl of water. We enjoyed the 1880 Connection: Oregon and Burgundy Compared. They have a winery in both Dayton, in Willamette Valley and near Beaune in Burgundy, France (Maison Joseph Drouhin). This tasting compared the French style Pinot Noir with that in Oregon. The price for this tasting is $80.00 per person, and was worth every penny. The wines are so good that we bought a magnum of the Domaine Drouhin Louise, Dundee Hills, and a bottle of Joseph Drouhin Cote de Beaune 2016 Pinot Noir. We also joined the wine club. My husband works at a very good winery in Sonoma County and have a nice collection of wines from Sonoma, Napa, and various regions of France and Italy. For us to join a wine club, the wines must be fantastic. These wines, and the service, went above expectations. We’re looking forward to our first shipment! One last thing - Domaine Drouhin is at the top of a hill. The views are amazing. We were invited to their secret garden where I took some nice pictures.
