The French and Americans unite in wine
Abby did a great job as host. The wines are very good. We did the American/French pairing. That was the best! We can actually taste the difference. Ken added a lot of great information about the wines. The views were stunning! Check out the imported French tractor!

All Around Great Experience and Best Wines for the Value
This is one of the nicest U.S. wineries to visit. The estate and tasting room are beautiful and the wines may be the best value in Oregon. We were well acquainted with their French parent before visiting and were pleasantly surprised that the American counterpart has wonderful wines at great prices. We also had a cheese board with the wine tasting, which was quite pleasant. The staff was less knowledgeable than some other wineries, but if you want really nice wines at a great price, I would not skip Drouhin.

    Don't Miss Domaine Drouhin
Winding road to get to Domaine Drouhin....we had a reservation, but it was still crowded. Got a table at the top of the stairs and liked it. Felt like we had a private tasting with Jeff. Jeff was very friendly and attentive, giving us time to talk between tastings. Small inside space, but the outside has many patios and views. It was raining so we were inside, hence, many others. I really liked all of the wines here and ended up buying 3 to get a free tasing.

Had a tasting at 3pm, we were late but were told that we could still taste if we got there before 330, which we did. Told us we couldn't taste even for half of the tasting. Tastings are at least an hour, clearly the lady was in a bad mood, so told us to still pay for the tasting buy wine, oh and we can't even drink it on property. I'll never be back. So many other great wineries in the area, skip these fools. We felt bad we would of tipped well and bought lots of wine. Huge mistake. Im telling all my friends. Boo.

I do not typically review wine, in fact this is my first review and unfortunately its a negative review on wine. I just felt compelled to leave one after this experience.
Not a friendly place. Woman behind the counter scolded us for not reading the website and directed us off the property for bringing a child. In front of the child. We understand children are not welcome, however the accusatory tone was uncalled for especially since the place was empty.
Wine is good but not good enough to excuse the nasty vibes.
Go up the hill or go down the hill either way just keep driving.

Gorgeous location and well orchestrated SAFE wine tasting now that they've re-opened. Reservations are required, no tour is available, but a masked staff member will give you info, answer questions and bring small carafes of wine out to your well-distanced table on the patio. A delicious and relaxing hour or so after months of being locked up. We brought home a number of their wonderful wines.

Patrick greeted us at the front of the winery. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He did an amazing job explaining everything to us as we tasted the different wines. He was careful to listen to what we liked and what our experience was with each wine that we tasted. We absolutely loved everything that we tried.
You cannot beat the gorgeous view from their deck. My husband and I had a fabulous time! Thank you!

Inconsistent service. We arrived on time and were seated on the only patio table directly in the sun. No apologies, just here you go. We got our first pour, about 30 seconds of info on it, and then the server disappeared. The table next to us sat down at the same time and was on their fourth pour before we got our second. A nice helpful additional server then stopped by and asked us what we were drinking and picked up from there. Then our original server came back. I asked for a cheese plate and unfortunately they were all out.

The wines were ok. We enjoyed the Roserock Chardonnay and Pinot. However, the rest were forgettable.

Ehh. Pass on DD. There are better places in the valley.

Stopped in for visit during the pandemic. We had a private tasting with Ed. We sampled 6 wines from 2 different appellations. We enjoyed them all. We were disappointed to not taste their French Pinots as a comparison to the Oregon Pinots but overall a good tasting. Nice tasting room.

We enjoyed every moment of our wine tasting on the lovely patio of Domaine Drouhin. They sold out of tasting the day we went. I made our reservation several months before. I was glad I did. This winery is very popular. The patio has stunning views of their vineyard. I felt like I was in France! Be sure to use their restroom as you walk through the fermentation room to get to the restroom. Beautiful location and ambience at Domaine Drouhin.
Our host, Cesar, is an excellent representative/host. He has excellent knowledge of the wines and the history of the winery. We enjoyed many outstanding wines. Our favorite was the Domaine Drouhin Oregon Edition Limitee' Pinot Noir. We loved the wines so much we joined the DDO Direct Wine Club. We are thrilled we will enjoy a bit of Domaine Drouhin throughout the year!

Very nice experience. We’d actually met the winemaker herself at an event in Chicago a few months before our visit to her Oregon winery; we were drawn to taste here because of the French connection and winemaking style. The winemaker was totally lovely and it’s nice that this place is family-run. Truly dedicated to the craft of winemaking!

Beautiful views from the tasting room, and a nice tasting experience with a knowledgeable and friendly member of the staff. Not our favorite tasting experience in the area, but certainly worth a visit.

A lovely selection of wines…lots to like about them! Again, they ended-up not being our favorite wines among the many we tasted while in the region, but they are nevertheless high quality, well-made wines, and a visit here is worth the stop.

Occasionally, when you visit a winery, you are lucky enough to have a host of your tasting that makes it an absolutely magical and unforgettable experience… this was our great fortune at Domaine Drouhin with Caesar. He is a bundle of kindness, warmth and knowledge and brought us along on amazing tales of the wines we were enjoying. His enthusiasm is palpable and took our visit to the next level! We cannot thank you enough, Caesar for making our day!
