A hidden gem nestled in the Willamette valley, Oregon. Amazing wines across the board with a thoughtful, caring and educated staff. Intimate enough where you feel comfortable asking questions and sampling all the varieties. The master winemaker is on hand and available to share his life-long passion.

Whenever my family from California visits, we have to make a special visit to Chateau Bianca. And the wine they ALWAYS return home with is the Northwest Comfort. It is just wonderful served warmed on a chilly evening. Plus my son from Texas says he always learns something new about winemaking when he visits there and talks to the staff.... More

I've been stopping at Chateau Bianca for 20 years and it just keeps improving. Are all their wines perfect? No, and neither are those of anyone else However, their wines over all are fantastic. The Tempranillo is the best in the state and their Gewürztraminer is the only one I will buy. Andreas Wetzel learned from the best and has... More

Tasting room was laid out poorly making it a bit rushed and uneasy, but the wines were generally good and the food was great once we figured out how to get some.

This is a very nice stop on a trip to the coast from Salem. Sometimes they have weekend BBQ's that are fun, and tasty!

My wife and I came here as a second stop of the day for wine tasting. We were the only ones in the place and waited a few minutes before being attended to. We were told that there was a "VIP" on site and were asked if we minded waiting a little bit before being taken care of. We were... More

I'd driven by this winery, vineyard and tasting room dozens of times before I finally stopped in. The tasting room sits in a renovated fruit stand, and is full of some surprisingly tasty wines. Of course they have a flight of Pinot Noirs... the best being the 2006... and a number of whites, including their Wine Enthusiast #6 wine in... More

Chateau Bianca does not impress from the outside, you have to go in and taste the wines. We were on our second visit, and this year samples were as good as last year. They give a very good pour and have a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Don't miss the Northwest Comfort, a local favorite and great to take skiing in the... More

My husband and I stopped at the winery on the way to the coast. You pay $5.00 for wine tasting, ( you get several samples) and if you buy wine, I think they wave the tasting fee. I didn't do the tasting, but my husband enjoyed it. We did buy some wine for Christmas gifts and it was very good.

Stopped at this winery after reading an article about great pinots in OR with great value. Glad we stopped! Greg was knowledgable and had us taste a variety of pinots, all at reasonable prices. What a concept! This winery will be one that we look forward to visiting again and recommending to our OR friends!
