About
Cottage Theatre delights audiences with its year-round season of plays and musicals. The theatre presents six to eight productions annually, each of which runs for 3 or 4 weeks. The theatre also offers summer theatre camps for children. From humble beginnings under a parachute in 1982, Cottage Theatre now boasts a state-of-the-art facility that was built in 1998 and expanded in 2006.

The Cottage Theater is a cozy venue that always offers good, quality entertainment. It has a capacity of around 200 with comfortable seating. They feature a snack bar where you can purchase coffee, cookies and other goodies. It was a wonderful experience.

We always enjoy the plays presented by the Cottage Theatre. It is a very comfortable theatre and there is not a bad seat in the house. The plays are great and the cast are always excellent. We go often through their season.

Though it is impossible to guarantee that every show will be amazing for every person on every visit it is possible to say that you will more than likely enjoy your experience here. Cottage Theatre is a local, non-profit theater run by a board of volunteers. The vast majority of the shows are very good and it is worth the ticket price, which is about the same as seeing a movie. It is a small theater with a stage that comes out in the audience so it is a very intimate experience. If you have the opportunity it is well worth a visit!

Difficulty sitting through a performance due to no leg room. I would really advise older people not to come unless they can sit in the front row. As a couple we have always enjoyed going to the theater but it became less enjoyable as we got older. The theater needs to be enlarged and the seats need to be spread out more or there needs to be more seating for people that have problems with their knees and legs.

They do high quality theatre entertainment. Great seating available and prices are fair to the shows you see. Recommend everyone attend the theatre at least once... You will go back, again & again

Seats are adequate, the venue is cozy. Props, acting and energy are all A1 (Noises Off)! A sorely needed, fine addition to the city of Cottage Grove!

The best place to see theater! It has accessible hearing loss equipment, wheelchair accessible. Great performances. So much talent! Love it.

We have had season tickets to the Cottage Theater for many years. They consistently do a great job, especially with musicals. Recently they put on Les Miserables which is incredibly daunting for a small theater. The reviews were terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. However, we have never had a bad experience and are continually amazed at the level of talent available in both Cottage Grove and Eugene. I know many who travel from Eugene for each performance as Cottage Theater rivals any larger venue. We never miss a show, and the service is great if you need advice on seats or to change your date (for season tickets)>
