The university provides students with multiple fields of study and is constantly enriching its offerings. Oregon State is one of a very few universities to offer coursework in four "grant" areas. The school began as a land grant institution, then added sea grant, and more...More

My first time on the campus. Thoroughly enjoyed walking around and seeing all the new buildings that blend in with the historical ones. Lots of variety of trees and some beautiful old trees too. I was here on a Sunday, and can only imagine how...More

OSU is full of great green space, friendly people, and stellar education. The Quad is a pretty central location, within easy walking distance of Reser Stadium, Gill Coliseum, Inter-mural Fields, the library, and other attractions (like underground bowling).

My daughter wanted a big Division 1 school, but a place which was also small and friendly. She also wanted to be within a days drive of our home in Washington. She looked at both the Washington schools, but decided to go out of state...More

Our grandson will be attending OSU next year and we wanted to see it. What a beautiful place! Wonderful areas to walk and many grassy places to sit or study under the trees in the shade.

Had a good tour of the OSU campus to learn about the school and see some of the campus and buildings. Memorial Union is a great place to hang out. The campus is nice and has a relaxed feel to it.

We toured Oregon to scout colleges for our teenagers and this made our list. However, it's worth a visit even without prospective students. It's a very green campus and during the summer, it's quiet. We enjoyed strolling around before our tour and checking out the...More

I visit the campus almost every week. It is spacious, with broad sidewalks for walking or biking. In May the Rhododendrun bloom. The landscaping includes many different kinds of trees. Stately architecture and generally relaxed atmosphere.

We had a great 60th class reunion and reacquainted ourselves with this beautiful campus. There are a lot of new buildings that blend in well with the older ones and very few of the old, large trees were removed during construction.

My alma mater looks great, they have done such a great job of keeping the old buildings looking great. It is truly a beautiful campus.

Yes! I would park in the new parking structure on campus. It is right across the street from both the football field and the basketball court. It is also located right above the new, and larger OSU bookstore. It has a... More
