About
Árdíri Winery and Vineyards, located in the heart of the beautiful Chehalem Mountains AVA just west of Portland, specializes in Willamette Valley and Napa Valley Pinot noir and Pinot gris. Narrowly spaced, densely planted vineyards produce limited quantities of elegant wines with rich and complex characteristics. Views of Mt. Hood and the surrounding vineyards add to the ambiance of a visit to Árdíri.

Reasonably priced tasting flights
Jul 2020
Beautiful location with friendly staff. We started with a Tasting Flight (free to members) and decided on a bottle of 2019 Pinot Gris which we enjoyed at one of the socially-distanced tables next to the grapevines.

Fantastic environment with lovely varietals.

A lovely hillside space with sweeping views & seriously tasty varietals! Ardiri is exceptional with Covid compliance so you can feel safe and comfortable.
Highly recommend the Pink Tractor Rose - super for patio guzzling & the Pinots are sheer delights.

Wanted to love it

Ardiri has a beautiful location. We visited, looking forward to great wine and a bit of time outside and were really disappointed. While the location is every bit as lovely as it looks in the photos, I've had far better wine in the Willamette Valley and on the day we were there a large group had gathered for a birthday party so the usual quiet you enjoy when you step out of the city was interrupted by the sounds of a large group of people celebrating. From the comments, this isn't unusual to have large gatherings. The volume was more like a busy restaurant than a winery once everything got started so not relaxing at all.

Wine pick up
Jan 2019 • Solo
Every time I am up here now I feel like I’m surrounded by family! It’s great to be greeted here. People know my name and they take the time to say hi! I always have so much fun going up here! The wine variety is great. They have something for my husband as well as wine I like, more bold red! I always look forward to going up to Ardiri!

Beautiful Scenery and facility
May 2018
We went to a birthday party at the Ardiri Winery and it is a beautiful facility. The drive up takes you down a country road but it is worth the trip. You overlook grapes to get a great view of Mt, Hood from the seating area.. Covered area is large enough for a private party.

Ardiri is great, wonderful patio, awesome view, people there are nice. You can do a flight or just purchase a glass of wine to have with your picnic lunch.

Excellent facility, terrible wine
Sep 2016 • Friends
The setup of the tasting area is awesome. Full length glass windows to block the wind but is an open air concept to get a breeze and fresh air. Multiple gas fire pits in the center of the tables, lots of seating, and everything is clean and maintained. Of the 5 wines available, 2 were red, and were absolutely terrible. 6 people in our group were all very unimpressed. Very light red and sour. The rose wine was good, even though I'm not a fan.

Dogs, wine, views, and great people!
Aug 2016 • Couples
We went there specifically because they were dog friendly. Our pup had a great time meeting Melissa (who gave him treats). The husband and I had a great time meeting Rachel and Zach (who gave us wine treats)!

The place is a peaceful and restorative place where you can taste wines, look at beautiful views, and meet some great people. We left with many bottles.

Our dog liked sniffing the wines but since he was driving, we didn't let him have any.

Excellent view of Mt Hood an Great ground and helpful umbrellas.
Aug 2016 • Family
We arrived with two children in tow. We opted for the taste testing and the wine was fabulous. Setting was good beneath red umbrellas near lawn.
When we received the wine we were offered a plate of chips. When we finished the testing we bought a glass of wine at $8.00 Us
and bottle of Pinot Noir Commanders for $ 33.00 US dollars. I asked the sommelier for an extra plate of chips. We were then told "no"but we could buy something "more substantial" and that he couldn't give us more chips. Left a bad taste. If the truth was known the kids ate the chips and wanted more. We were in no way trying to take advantage and had a lunch scheduled nearby. Still good but odd in our child centered mind.
