Rolling Hills Alpacas is an Alpaca breeding Farm located just 1 mile from downtown Jacksonville, Oregon. We sheer the animals yearly. Our farm boutique is filled with alpaca products from hand spun yarns, hand knit hats, scarves, sweaters, and more. We can give you fiber spinning demonstrations too. The animals are gentle and shy. The babies are darling. We are Open 11 -5PM Wednesday - Sunday or by appointment. There is plenty of parking, and picnic areas too. We are also home to Caprice Vineyards and wine tasting room.

What's not to love...alpacas, wine, and a gift shop to boot! Jim and Jeanne, the owners, will make you feel at home. Stroll around the grounds, watch the alpacas, sip some wine...relax! You might be lucky enough to show up when there is music (usually weekends in summer) or just after a baby alpaca has been born. Wonderful place for... More

A great combination of fun and wine tasting is to be found here. And so close in! Have out of town guests and too short on time to get to wineries further out? Visit Caprice Winery; excellent wines and the alpaca entertainment is free! Also, very close to Central Point and Jacksonville restaurants and attractions.

We rocked up with a couple of kids and a raging thirst, and spent a lovely couple of hours meeting their collection of alpacas and drinking wine. There's no great set-up, as such. Just a tasting room, with a lovely picnic area, a few acres of vines, and several pens where the animals live. Provided they're not too busy, the... More

They are so sweet, soft and friendly. The babies were adorable. Better than a zoo!

I was staying with family in Central Point and was trying to come up with an activity that would be appealling for my 5 year old nephew, as well as his mother. This was perfect. The owner, whom I spoke to before coming, was just lovely. She was so very kind to us and gave us a great tour of... More

What a neat place! Bring your kids for a little farm adventure. My two daughters 11 and 8 had a blast interacting with the alpacas. Even my 15 year old son was glad we stopped. Parents can even sneak in a wine tasting too! Nice gift shop also. A little something for everyone.

This place is simply superb. The owners - James and Jeanne, are very friendly and hospitable. They have got two farms accomodating about 26 Alpacas of varying size, sex and colors. The tour of the farm is free and they will take you around so you can interact with Alpacas. These are very friendly creatures and love playing with kids.... More

This attraction is a "must see". You'll see alpacas, and "guard lamas", and learn about them, and it's all free! If you're lucky, you'll see baby alpacas. They are so cute! You can take photos near their enclosures, with the animals in the background. Alpaca fiber is incredibly light and soft and you'll see examples in the boutique. Some products... More
