Ken Wright Cellars has converted an old train station into an attractive tasting room. My wife had heard a friend comment favorably about their wines so we resolved to go visit next time we were in the area. We were a little surprised that the charge for tasting was $25 per person, but we decided to go ahead. We were... More

If I could give it zero stars I would! So disappointed in this tasting room. Went here upon the recommendation of a good friend. Could not have been more upset at how they treated us. The wines are no longer what they used to be and the service was awful. Did not finish any of our wines and they insisted... More

As you can see from my other reviews, I'm a wine enthusiast with extensive wine tasting experiences during my travels. This tasting was one of my worst. I often post a review of the ones that stand out and generally don't post a review of the ones that are average or poor. I usually make appointments ahead of time rather... More

I've been looking forward to visiting this winery for years and wasn't disappointed. The staff was very informative, welcoming and knowledgeable. The tasting room itself is artistically and creatively decorated...

Ken Wright is a must for visitors to the Willamette Valley as he has been making Pinots for over 30 years and it shows in his wines. An elegant tasting room crafted from the old Carlton rail depot is a great spot to experience his products. The tastings are extremely well run and is one of the few wineries where... More

Very tasty pinots located in an old train depot in downtown Carlton, OR. Very charming but a little pricey. Overall fantastic quality and taste.

AS I drove towards the quaint & tranquil township, the sun began to poke her head through the abundance of forming cumulonimbus; a sharp breeze whisked away the darker rain filled clouds & as I parked in front of "Ken Wright's Depot, & exited my vehicle, the sun shone brightly down on the old railway station, as if inviting me... It would be even nicer in the summer with their outdoor seating and firepits. Very cozy inside and they educate you on all the wines very well. It's so cool that it's in an old Train Depot.

I am a budding wine aficionado, and yesterday had the opportunity to visit and taste fantastic wines at Ken Wright Cellars in Carlton , Oregon. I had always heard and read that Ken's wines are some or the world's finest. As an avid reader of Wine Spectstor magazine, I was always impressed to read that his wines consistently earn the... Ivory did a great tour and tasting with us. She took us up to the vineyard and then back for some tasting. Very educational and topped off with great wines.
