By far one of my favorite wineries in Oregon.

I can’t get enough of their amazing views.
If you are looking for delicious tasting, service, chic, relaxing and fabulous atmosphere take a drive to Anne Amie.

Arrived at Anne Amie early, before the rush. Jake greeted us and started the flight, then when things got busy, we moved to the patio and Carly took over. Both stewards brought us whites and reds, which thrilled my wife who is not a big Pinot fan. Knowledgeable, friendly, and so accommodating. Could not ask for more.

Unless it would be the wines! Amazing pinots. Carly allowed us to have two pinots at the same time to compare and what a treat! From the whites to the pinots to the final Muller-Thurgau desert wines, all amazing and simply wonderful.

A “Don’t miss!” winery on every trip to the Willamette Valley.

Came by for a picnic lunch since their website said it was friendly. Wow, not so much. Terrible service. When the server realized we were having lunch everything changed. Sent us around the back of the building. Really? Dirty/dead and old crappy benches. "You can't sit on the patio".
After our lunch we made our way to the patio. The only other table were employee's complaining about the tourists. Place was empty. Sad really.
Been here before, wine was good. After this experience, no thanks. Too many other great places close.
Bocce ball anyone? Trash everywhere.

Anne Amie was the worst stop on an otherwise great day of wine tasting. There are many better places to visit.

The staff was fairly rude and not helpful at all. We sat outside for our tasting. No list of wines we would be tasting was provided. When each wine was poured for tasting, we were given no info about the win. We had to ask what each wine was. The answer was always the least amount of info needed to answer the question. Ultimately, we had no idea what we were drinking other than "pino" or "rose".

On top of it all, it was the worst collection of wines we've tasted on any winery visit.

The view off the patio is nice, but that seems to be the only thing going for this place.

There is no place in Napa, Sonoma, St. Helena, the Alexander Valley or anywhere else in the Northern California wine country that has a better setting for a picnic than this winery.  They sit literally on top of a big hill that gives you stunning views of the surrounding area.  Even driving up the drive which is a long up hill grade I found myself saying ...WOW!  They have a very nice tasting room.  The hostess was gifted when it comes to pithy repartee.  Enough said regarding venue.

Okay, let me start by saying I have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to wines.  I am only speaking on behalf of my own little eyes, nose & taste buds.  To me, much of the commercial wine that are affordable in wine and grocery stores have a bit of a high alcohol smell to their bouquet which ruins part of the experience for me.  The dry Riesling here was an example of this as were a couple of others. Their wines taste like big commercial wines.   I don't know how else to describe it.  It is kind of an ethanol/diesel smell.  I only tried their trade wines, no library or reserve wines.  I though they were okay but over priced relative to other local wineries.

I probably should have tried more but I was going to multiple locations in a single day I needed to be judicious.  No offense intended.

This winery is wonderful year round but in the summertime with the outdoor seating the views are great. They knew what they were doing when they picked this spot. Being from the local area I have been to numerous tasting rooms and wineries and because of location and selection of wines this is definately my favorite. It can be a little crowded inside at certain times but their is alot of room outside which is where I prefer to be anyways. I have been here four times and it has never disappointed. If you are looking into touring wineries in the willamette valley this is one place you do not want to miss.

The wines at this vineyard are excellent. And, our experience was definitely heightened by a very knowledgable hostess/server. This should definitely be a stop on your wine sampling.

Our family has been coming to Anne Amie since they opened, however we will not be returning again. The staff lacks basic hospitality training to the point of making you unwelcome and attacked. We arrived, and seeing a sign to check in before sitting on the patio, went into the tasting room with my picnic basket and asked if I could grab an open table outside, which I was told we could. After we were almost done with our mothers day picnic of sandwiches and the bottle of wine we purchased, a young man came over and very rudely told us that picnics were not allowed at that particular table and that we needed to move immediately. I told him that we were nearly done, and would be happy to clean up. He said OK but he came back a few minutes later huffing and yelling at us that now another party wanted to have a picnic as well so we must leave. He was rude to the point, that several other people around us also were appalled and stated that they would not return either. The professional thing to do would have been to let us know that next time those tables aren't for eating, and acknowledge that maybe the winery should post clear signage stating that.
