Just rows and rows of dahlias! The office was closed, but we just wanted to take pictures. We should have gone earlier in the season during full bloom, but many flowers were still in bloom!

I was not sure what dahlias were until I came to visit this quaint locale. Beautiful flowers and varieties you can buy and plant at home.

Huge fields of blooming dahlias to casually walk through and enjoy. And, all with such diversity in form and color. A sight to be seen in the late summer light!

They are in full bloom in August. The Dahlia Festival is the last 2 weekends in Aug. Very worthwhile if you love flowers.

The fields are open from 8 to 6. You can see the flowers from two roadsides if they are closed.

I have seen dogs on leash with their owners and there didn't seem to be a problem. As long as you pick up any messes as you would anywhere in public. Enjoy
