Small six vehicle ferries on the Willamette. No large trucksminutes. Steep approaches. Friendly operators. May be closed due to high water in winter. Phone to see if it is operating. Hours vary with season.

I buy a punch card to use the ferry any time and stay off the Interstate Freeway. Well worth the money and so beautiful and historical.

Such a relief to get off of I-205 and enjoy a gentle cruise across the river. Super friendly people to assist you.

It's been years since I took the Canby Ferry, and the quick ferry ride does not disappoint. I had small young cousins and their parents visiting me, and the girls had never been on a ferry, having come from an inland state in Brazil. I hope the County doesn't replace this charming Canby icon with a bridge, as it's truly a fun magical experience and worth the small toll drivers pay.

Or if you need to get to the other side of the river--take this it's quicker and the last time I rode it was free

We were the only car on a Sunday evening. It's a few minutes to cross the water, so charming! Operator was kind and welcoming.

This is a short, but fun outing. There aren't many small ferries remaining in the Northwest. I recommend this ride for youngsters before it is gone.
