If passing ANYWHERE near Camp Sherman for a little get away, plan to stop at the store and pick up some special food. From German Chocolate fudge brownie to a bottle of Italian Barolo wine at a reasonable price, to marcona almonds to stilton cheese to truffles, they have it all! Support Local and grab your picnic stuff there. They also have a gas pump. Not far off Hwy 20 near Sisters. Only open Fri-Sun during winter months I think. Been here over 100 years, and you should definitely stop in just to see the massive display case of dry flies for sale to fishermen...

A fun quirky little store with all kinds of goodies. We really love their t-shirts and always find one on sale. The store also does a great Fourth of July event. We are thankful the store is there. We love Camp Sherman Store!

Great mainstay in the charming summer playground of Camp Sherman. Gas pumps, picnic tables, a deli and fly fishing advice and supplies - there is a little of everything to outfit the weekender or weekly renter. Adjacent to the river, it’s fun to wander the crowded aisles and reminisce about Camp Sherman history.

We live in Camp Sherman and Roger & Kathy’s little store and fly fishing shop with post office is the hub of our community! They are simply the best and stock top end unique products. Mitch’s sandwiches are famously fantastic. We love it and you will too.

I have a hard time promoting the Metolius River and Camp Sherman because I am greedy, I would really like it to be one of those unknown places that only I know of. I have been coming to the Metolius River since 1966, back when it was a narrow dirt road, had few cabins or improvements and you could wade in the Headwaters where it boils out of the ground while freezing your various body parts off! I recommend visiting the Hatchery (especially with kids) to feed the Brood Trout, Wizard Falls for the amazing views, Camp Sherman for some 'Tourist Items' and munchies, then hang out at the Camp Sherman Bridge to feed the fish some bread pieces or Hatchery Food and take a shot at fishing for some of the fish in the Metolius River. I go to the Metolius River every year for a weekend of camping and Flyfishing where I 'catch and release' a few Trophy fish and a dozen or so small ones... knock on wood, I have never been skunked when fishing the water. My preference is to use Wet Flies and Beadhead Nymphs, which along with all of the gear you could need is available at the Camp Sherman Store. Our last visit was in September.
