Found this place while touring the southern Oregon coast and looking for lunch with Vegan food. The food truck which is inside the brewery has all Vegan meals which were delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating and welcome "well behaved" dogs!

My wife and I were in town on vacation for a week and we visited this brewery in Brookings. The brewery is very nice and big. The beers were excellent and the folks that worked here were super nice( which goes a long way these days) I highly recommend this brewery and again the beers were top notch!

An amazing brewery in Brookings OR! We stopped her for a lunch while on an anniversary vacation during COVID 19 pandemic. We got there right after opening so the place was not crowded. They are doing a very good job of trying to maintain social distancing and COVID precautions. There was a great selection of beer. It was especially nice to see a wide variety of dark beers in addition to the more popular IPAs. Staff was very friendly, mask wearing and helpful. Food from Off the Wagon food truck located within the warehouse was superb! We will definitely stop back here again when we pass through Brookings the next time!

The food was not as expected. Love vegetarian food, but this was disappointing and we were charged for every little thing that the menu stated came with our meal. For instance, asked t o make sure there was avocado with my wrap (which stated it was made with avocado) and was charged for it. Same with my partners dish. When questioned the food truck about it she said they always charge for it! Then why put it as part of the dish????? Anyway, $15 for a veg wrap is a bit outrageous--and then charged another dollar for the avocado. Service was slow and getting to the food truck is ugly and un-restaurant like. The seating enclosed by glass, right on the road, was the best part of this experience......

I was very impressed with Chetco. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The beers are very tasty and satisfying. There's an indoor/outdoor seating area with roll-up doors, a small seating area at the bar area and a huge party room that has a shuffle board and billiards. I liked this place so much I stopped in a few times while we were here for the weekend. They have food trucks/trailer's catering to the Patons. Unfortunately when I was there it was a 100% vegan food trailer, I'm an animal based food guy. I will definitely be back!

Good beer with plenty to f non IPA options. Free EV charging. Water for dog without asking. Sunny dining with indoor option if rainy. Tasty food but be aware it's begitarian.

I made the mistake of stopping here for a quick dinner—I was driving, so I decided to skip the beer. I ordered a $14 vegetarian panini from the food truck. I received a small plastic basket with the sandwich and some scattered corn chips. The Focaccia wasn't toasted, grilled—or even warm. The pesto quickly rendered it a soggy mess and there were hardly any grilled vegetables on it. How could this be called a panini? I've had some disappointing dining experiences in Brookings, but this takes the cake. First impressions matter; I'll never eat—or drink—here again. I like to support local businesses and it pains me to write a negative review, but this experience was truly beyond the pale.

You're always welcome to take your meal back to Off the Wagon so they can make it right. But Off the Wagon Food Truck is not Chetco Brewing Company (which is where you posted your review). We are not, nor have we ever claimed to be, a restaurant. We brew our beer in Oregon and in order for us to comply with state liquor laws, if we want to allow under age children to come into our brewery with their parents, 5 main dish food items must be available. Off the Wagon Food Truck "parks" here so we have that option. We have guest food trucks come in too and welcome suggestions for other trucks. We'll share your review of the food truck with Off the Wagon. We'd love for you to come back and try our craft beer. And you can watch our website & facebook for dates with visiting food trucks. Cheers!

Chetco brewing? World class brews in a nice new atmosphere. The imperial stout is one the top brewed imperial stouts in the massive craft brew scene. IPA offerings were outstanding and unique. The rest of the lineup was very good and did not cut corners on the grain bills for each selection which is where 90 percent of failed breweries succumb ending up with uneventful brews that just don't measure up or stand out. But, who has a business plan where you cut out over half the possible customers out there with a VEGAN food TRUCK? I guess you don't care what you eat when your drunk? REALLY? Better off having peanuts, pretzels, and pop corn until everyone is served food they actually want. In today's brewery business scene you have to have either uber, cabs, etc. for customers who make US successful by buying more than just one beer when they visit. If someone is NEGATIVELY AFFECTED, LIKE BY VEGAN FOOD they might not be so inclined to buy more than one pint, especially with nothing to temper down its effects. But the brewing is SPOT ON.

Hi there! So glad you enjoyed our beers and felt the brewing was spot on! We are flattered, and since brewing delicious beer is our passion, we are so happy you were pleased with it.
Owning a restaurant is not our passion and frankly, would have been financial suicide in this beautiful tourist town of 6000. Seriously! You should taste my wife's cooking! That is why brewery customers are always welcome to bring food, or take out of any sort in at any time.
The quirky thing about Oregon liquor Law is that families with minor children are not allowed into breweries unless there are 5 main dish food items available. Other wise, it is an adults only facility and that would have cut out over 1/2 our possible customers. Since we aren't restaurantuers, we are building a food truck culture at the brewery instead. Yay food trucks!
In this teeny coastal town, (there is no Uber here by the way- Yes! we are that small, lol) the only truck brave enough (so far) to take a risk with us full time is Off the Wagon. On holidays and during special events other food trucks come in, but no one has believed in us enough to make a full time commitment. Yet.

The tension in the bar is ridiculous when the owner is present. We were warned when he came in that he harasses patrons who aren't behaving perfectly... in a bar. We were fine, not loud, keeping to ourselves, and we were harassed. We will never be back and we will let everyone know about how we were treated.

As we mentioned on your google review, we thank you for sharing your perspective on the management skills at Chetco Brewing Company. All criticism helps make us better. In fact, after reviewing the circumstances surrounding your unpleasant experience, and having other patrons comment on the eventful evening, (see Review by Hannah on Yelp below our comments), we’ve decided to review and update our Tap Room policies in an effort to make sure all of our customers feel valued and are comfortable.
1)Please, no feet on the furniture, especially at table height.
2)We are pleased to be able to welcome your entire family, minors included! OLCC Regulations do not allow for minors in the bar area, so if you are accompanied by children under 10, we’d like to request that you sit with them, or at least in the same room as them.
3)Cell phones will no longer be allowed in the Bar area but cell phone usage will be allowed in the shuffleboard room.
We truly appreciate your taking the time to give us feedback. By sharing your experience with us, you are helping us to improve the Tap Room experience for all of our patrons. Thank you,

Stumbled on Chetco Brewing by luck following beer signs on the 101. I've already been there more than a hand full of times and every experience has been very pleasant. They have kombucha and cider for those who are gluten intolerant/ health conscious. Vegan food truck in the back and it's dog friendly! I was there last night grabbing a few beers with a colleague when a very rude lady started arguing with the owners threatening to give them bad reviews. She probably should've been kicked out of there earlier but the owners were so nice they listened to her tantrum and this lady was cray. Super cray. I guess haters are going to hate but this place is 5/5 in my books.

Only Growlers to go but such a huge assortment. You won't be disappointed!! Our favorite was called the Chetco Effect. If you talk nice to the beermeister, you can get a sample or two even though they are virtually shut-down!!
