Three of us visited on Saturday 4/19/2014. The owner gave us a tour along with two other folks who also stopped by. I never knew how brandy was made, and it was really interesting. We went because my sister had given us a bottle of the blackberry liquer, which is fabulous! In the tasting room we each tried one or two of their offerings, and decided to get more blackberry, plus their natural pear brandy (whose aftertaste is pure pear in your mouth!). All in all, we left with three bottles and the owner didn't charge us a tasting fee. If you've never tasted lovely brandy, or if you love blackberries, stop by. Check their website to find out when they're open and get the directions. You won't be sorry.

Great way to spend the afternoon. They take you through the whole process of making brandy. We have been a few times. The blackberry brandy is awesome. We must have that stable in the house at all times. The brandy tasting was great. Candy 5 stars

We were so happy to find Brandy Peak open and were immediately met with by a quick, friendly tour of the distilling setup. The tasting session ($5 for a taste of each type of brandy) was delicious and we left with a bottle of our favorite, the natural pear brandy. It's worth the visit!

This was the perfect place to warm up on a wet day.
The distillary is very easy to get to and not far from harris beach state park.
The lady working there gave us the tour, apart from feeding us with knowledge she kept us hydrated with a delicious selection (taste bud dependant) of brandys.
Small sampling room so might get busy in the summer?

Oh yeah. The blackberry liquor tastes amazing and looking forward to trying out the truffles!

Found this place from trip advisor. I was traveling with my family, mother in law, and her 93 year old mother. I told her about the distillery and insisted we go. Way to go grandma! took the drive up the winding road and enjoyed the tour of small distillery with a pleasant group of bikers. Was never a brandy drinker, but whoa, I am a convert now. Do not miss this place.

You will be glad you stopped. We arrived early and waited in the parking area. The super nice person who works there arrived and opened early for us. We had a wonderful and informative tour of the facility. Then off to the tasting room. We sampled all the wonderful products, you will buy some. The Blackberry brandy was superb. We were made to feel like we stopped at a family members home for a visit.

Had a nice visit although I don't have a classy enough pallete to enjoy Brandy as it is meant to be enjoyed. The tour was informative and the lady working was friendly and made us feel welcome even though we clearly knew nothing about brandy. The blackberry liqueur was very nice with the dark chocolate provided and I plan to pick some up for gifts. Definitely a fun excursion with warmer weather than the coast and amazing ocean views.

Friends had recommended a visit to Brandy Peak Distillery. Sure glad they did as the tour of the distillery was interesting and very informative. The owners are very welcoming folks and take their trade quite seriously. I love brandy, however their Blackberry Liqueur is over the top. A must do when in Brookings.

This distillery is the first I've ever visited. The place is small, however has quality products. You can tell this is a family who loves to do what they do. Tasting room is tiny, but comfortable. The tour is not very long, but you do get to hear about the family history. I am glad I did not miss this place. Highly recommended if you are in the area (even on the coast). It is not a long drive from 101.

We stopped as we'd never been to a brandy distillery before. The owner gave us a tour and taught us all about the process. The aged pear brandy and the blackberry liqueur are both amazing. Well work a visit!
