Keep heading south and look for the seals.

A beautiful and expansive beach. Past the tall rocks at the south end of the beach there is another section of coastline that is more rocky and has more driftwood piled up. If you keep walking past the tall rocks and look towards another rock formation out in the ocean to the right you can see white spots. Those are... More

This is a beautiful beach with fantastic rocks, amazing tide pools and plenty of wave action. Great for walking and exploring.

Best time to visit Lone Ranch is an hour before low tide. Walk all the way to the end past a couple of sea stacks. You will be greeted with great tide pools with sea anemones and star fish, hermit crabs and other interesting sea life. Seals can often be seen just off shore. The thing is if it is... More

This is a great park to get some very nice photos. The whole Samuel H. Boardman Scenic Corridor was amazing, but this park is a must do if you cannot hit them all.

My wife and I have gone to this beach several times for a good walk. They have a nice picnic area and trails to walk on. It has restrooms and several picnic tables. I find it to be a beautiful scenic beach and will come back to see it again.

A short walk on a trail leads to the beach. There are restrooms at the parking lot and lots of fun to be had scavenging the beach at low tide.

This is a must see/stop. Great views, beautiful rocks, curving beach, lots of driftwood. I wish we could have spent a day here.

While camping at Harris Beach State Park, we decided to drive a few miles north to check out this beach. We ended up liking it much better than the ever popular Harris Beach because it was less populated and had everything you could want in a beach: few people, tide pools, lots of cool-looking stacks, and a large expanse of... We came in at low tide, had a great time playing in the rocks and tide pools looking for hermit crabs and shells. Nice quiet little beach with wonderful photo opportunities. And it's free to play.
