Beautiful viewpoint! The first viewpoint for the Natural Bridges is only 2 min walk from the parking area. You can walk further downhill and closer to the Natural bridges but it’s steep and slippery, so we didn’t go all the way to the bottom. The view at the top is great already if you don’t want to hike all the way down.

Search for this. well marked but this Iconic View is not to be missed. Featured on many Guided Tour Boks and Instagram Posts. Small lot, hidden sign so pin point your GPS early. (Muddy)trail is tough to navigate down. Steep but the view - even from the platform - is mesmerizing.

We made a stop here on our drive exploring the Oregon Coast and it was such a wonderful area with stunning views of the natural bridges and the Oregon coast.
It is so unassuming from the parking lot but so incredible when you reach the viewing platform (which is a very short distance from the parking lot).
Trust me, you don't want to miss this beauty!

One of the stops I wanted to make was here. This is a popular stop on the Samuel Boardman. I could never get anyone to tell me how parking was.
I can tell you about parking right now - IT SUCKS! There's spots for maybe 10 cars. Don't even try if you're pulling an RV. When we passed by people were parking up & down & across the Hwy.
It was really foggy there when we went by & it was STILL crowded! Very disappointing.

Slow down or you'll chance driving past the turn off.
Easy to locate with road signs just north of the Thomas Creek bridge.
An easy one minute walk to the most popular viewing platform.
Absolutely breathtaking view of three natural arches in clear view.
We continued down a little further down the narrow, sometimes slick, and often steep path, so be prepared. It appears you can go down quite a ways toward the arches, but we didn't venture that far down.
Don't miss this wonder!

Just moved to Brookings a couple of months ago, and it's easy to see that we have MUCH to explore here! I drive to Gold Beach and back once or twice a week, which is a beautiful drive in and of itself - but if I start taking some more time now and then to stop and explore some of the walks that are here, then I'll see so much more.

I would need to check out some maps, but it seems that all along the coast here there is The Coast Trail, running all the way from the Columbia River down to the California border. And if that's the case, then I'll have a lot of after work hikes! This little gem was maybe a half mile or so out and back, but not difficult and with some great views! One caveat is that if it's been raining a LOT, this trail is likely to have some pretty mucky sections. For us, we walked it after two sunny, rainless days and it was fine. Can't wait to see more!

You must stop here! If you are a hiker do the hike. If you are just a sightseer and only want to check it out that is OK too. Beautiful views from the look out point. But do stop here!

Although summer time is best but no matter what time of year you go this is a beautiful sight to behold. It's easier to access although not ADA Accessible. There are a couple of trails that lead down to the Natural Bridge Formation that are moderate but not too hard to traverse.

Stunning view along the Oregon Coast Trail with a view of two natural bridges. Easy to get to even if you have trouble walking. Highly recommend the walk down to the rocks...

You could miss this or any one of a dozen other must-see stops on Highway 101 along the Oregon Coast. Not too many miles outside of Brookings and long before you reach Gold Beach. Watch for the signs. There is a small parking lot and a trail that heads off to the south. The first stop just a few yards down the trail is a spectacular view of a natural bridge. The trail is an easy walk to that point. You can continue further down for closer views, but the trail gets a bit steep and can be slippery when it rains. There are many possible stops along the highway that heads along the beautiful, rocky, Oregon Coast. This is one of them. You should stop here.
