Hosmer lake is amazing. Although you need a kayak or some sort of boat that can navigate shallow water to see its beauty. The view from the parking is very anticlimactic, but as soon as you begin winding your way through the narrow crystal clear...More

One of two of our favorite lakes in Central Oregon, Hosmer is a superior lake for kayaks, canoes, fishing or paddle boards... no power boats allowed, so the water is always calm, with winding fingers through reeds and ponderosa pines, and most of the lake...More

We took an evening canoe tour on Hosmer Lake with Wanderlust tours and it was incredible! We started canoeing at 9 pm, so there was no on else on the lake, it was calm and peaceful. From the shoreline, it looks like a small pond,...More

This crystal clear lake allows you to see the fish all the way to the bottom. No motors and so peaceful. Bring bug spray. Unmatched nature views

The fishing here is still good but don't expect to have the lake to yourself unless you get there at first light. Simply beautiful views of the west side of Mt. Bachelor with reflections on the mountain on the still water that will leave you...More

Absolutely gorgeous! A little quieter than Sparks Lake. Paddling through the area seeing more big fish than I have ever seen in the wild. Great mountain views. A must see place.
