Make the turn at Bullard's Beach State Park on Hwy 101 and follow the road to the lighthouse. Beautiful stop along the Oregon Coast and between 11 -5 pm (May-Sept) volunteers are available to answer questions and provide information about the area. Beautiful views of the ocean and a paved jetty to walk on beside it. Plenty of parking.

The lighthouse was a nice place to visit on the coast. Volunteers were informed on the locality. There was a small gift shop as well. There was also a jetty off from the lighthouse that you could walk out on. It was not wheelchair accessible however.

The lighthouse is about 1-1/2 mile off 101 but worth the small side trip. The lighthouse opens at 11 with volunteer guides. This is a great spot to watch the river, learn about the lighthouse and sit on the beach.

I'm more into looking at lighthouses instead of climbing them. I love searching out light houses, but my family doesn't, so I was thrilled to run across this jewel...and it's easy to run across. Right off the road--no winding up hills to see it. I liked the history of it, and it made for great, fun photos!

Enjoyed our visit to the lighthouse however, was a bit disappointed that we could not actually go up to the top of the lighthouse.

We were lucky to go see this on a calm day. It was fun to look around and read about the history of the lighthouse. We were also able to walk out on the jetty and get a good view of the beach.

We were a bit disappointed with our visit to the lighthouse. It was a 15 minute drive from town and when we got to it were surprised how small it was. There is a small gift shop inside, but that's all you get to see. The driftwood on the beach is neat to see, but I don't think I'd go... More

As far as Lighthouses go, this is just a step above the ones you can't access. Not much to see but one to check of the list nonetheless. It is easy to get to so you might as well stop and snap a picture or take a look around. You can't go in the tower so it's a bummer. Do... More

The lighthouse was fairly basic, but nice. We mostly enjoyed walking out to the end of the jetty where we got splashed by waves splashing up onto the rocks and also saw some harbor seals swimming in the bay.
