Most impressive beach you will find!

Not sure where to start, from the sunrise colors to the tidal change and back to gorgeous sunsets, it's hard to beat! I also found it be far less crowded than expected. You... read more

Not sure where to start, from the sunrise colors to the tidal change and back to gorgeous sunsets, it's hard to beat! I also found it be far less crowded than expected. You won't be dissapointed. I'd highly recommend low tide so you have lot's of beach to explore and as another traveler posted, don't be discouraged by the fog,... More

This location is truly impressive. We happened by on very nice day in Bandon area and learned of the Indian legend of Face Rock. Had to see it. The view from the viewpoint is massive and reveals a truly Oregon gem. Lots of sand and tremendous rock features. Access is great with steps and viewing platform. Veiw from viewpoint is... More

We visited Bandon last week and spent a day at the beach here. This is really the most beautiful beach we have ever seen!! It is really just that wonderful. Our hotel was very close and we just walked the beach, sat on a log and watched the waves. Came back and watched the sunset. A not to be missed... More

We got there in the late afternoon and it was so foggy that you couldn't make out any of the rock formations along the beach, and it was cold and windy. We thought about it for a few minutes and decided to walk down to the beach and try to get behind a formation to break the wind. By the... More

Beautiful place to walk along the shore. The rock formations are the best. The beach was not crowded--a little slice of heaven all to ourselves.

This is a definite must do!! The area is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot of exploring to be had. We spent a week on the coast, from Astoria to Bandon, and this was, perhaps, the most scenic spot......as far as rock formations go!! Just breathtaking!!!!!

It is a very pleasant drive down the Oregon coast in early Fall from Portland. Variety of coastlines from sandy beaches, to dunes, to rocky formations. Sampling seafood restaurants.

We hit the 11th street beach access at lowest tide and were completely blown away by all the sea life we found in the tide pools and sticking to the rocks along the beach. Starfish, kelp, seaweed, crabs, barnacles, mussels, snails, millions of anemones, and even a baby octopus! Plenty of birds up on their nesting rocks and breathtaking views... More
