We had just left Black Mesa State Park (horrible), so I was apprehensive about spending another two days in a dump. This park seemed like heaven! It was so very nice, clean, and well manicured. We stayed in the Whitetail section with FULL hookups, shade trees, cement patio table, level site, walking trails, ample trash bins and dump stations.
It was quiet, except for the occasional train whistle from nearby Woodward. You have a great opportunity there for getting groceries, camping supplies or doing laundry here. We did not use the bath house.
There is a nice park office and visitor center and pavilion with interesting facts on the wildlife, birds, and plants in the park that is in tip top shape.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Nice place to camp hike and swim. Get to see wildlife on an around the roads. Quite place to camp until they put another trailer right next to yours. It wouldn’t be so bad but on whitetail area there was no other trailer up here but mine and they put one right next door. And the pond and spill way needs clean up. And all the trash around.

Our home away from home. Stay her 4-5 times per year and stay 4 to 5 nights at a time. Quiet, peacful. Lots of wildlife. Nice little fishing lake right out the back of the cabins. Nice swimming pool. Natural trails. Golf course. Close to town for shopping and eating out. This is where we want to go to relax and have quiet.

The boiling springs was only a small exhibit that had an area that looks like it was bubbling. There was no hot water boiling as I expected. Seems like they were more interested in campers than visitors.

Worse experience my family and I have ever had, Ranger Gay, harassed family members multiple times on our 2 day rehearsal dinner. And Wedding reception,by not allowing to drop off or pick up family from the roadside, to telling us we should of ended the reception early so we would be out by 11 pm. Sorry we departed at 1120.thanks for helping us celebrate our son and daughter in laws special day something we all went so forget.

The park is a good size with plenty of parking, picnic facilities, play ground, spring fed pool, lots of trees, overnight cabins and great outdoor family summer fun. We visited in December so there weren't any other people there at that time. I had been here many times as a child, while vacationing at my grandparents and the park has been expanded and kept very nice over the years.

Boiling Springs is a small state park with restrooms, a swimming pool for cabin dwellers, covered picnic tables and hiking trails. By looking down an enclosed whole framed with cedar posts, one can actually see the springs coming out of the sand. The actual stream from this natural springs is very small and runs through the woods. We didn't actually see a whole lot to do in this park but it was a nice break after driving across the plains on a hot day.

My trip to Boiling Springs State Park was brief, but nonetheless, it was very fun. First, the grounds are beautiful! They are well kept but natural. It is a great place to go if you are looking for an amazing location to take photos. I would suggest going before mid-October. It was still gorgeous, but most of the trees had already shed a large number of their leaves. Second, if you are going there to see something similar to Yellowstone you will be let down. The Boiling Springs is natural but hard to find. The reason for this is because there is a fence around the pool of bubbling water, which is the Boiling Springs. This fence makes it hard to see. The spring itself is a basketball-sized bubble or disturbance in the sand at the bottom of a small pool. It is cool but not a must-see. I found the river and ponds prettier and more fun, as they are easier to take pictures of and you can interact with them more, However, I favored the grounds the most. The peaceful trails that are in the woods are what make the grounds so amazing. They make for a relaxing hike. Overall, the grounds should be the reason you are going. They are so pretty!

We'll be going to nearby Woodward to visit some relatives for about a week in the next week or so. We'll go in our motorhome and tow a Wrangler. We have a 07 Pace Arrow 36D. We'll need 50 service and full hookups at Boiling Springs as it appears to be the best campground near Woodward. My question is about availability of 50 amp. How many 50 amp sites are there and what's the likelihood of a site or two being available?

I don't know how many sites they have but I feel you would have a very good chance of one being available.

Hi, by brother and I and our wives are looking at Boiling Springs for a weekend outing. We both have campers, his is a 24' bumper pull and mine is a 36' fifth wheel and are looking for places to park for the weekend. Do you have RV camping spots and if so what is the cost per night and what regulations might you have?

Sorry, but I was there as a day visitor. I did find this on a website about the park:
Rv Camping is in two areas, Whitetail with full hookups and pull-thrus, and Spring Hill with semi modern hookups and a little more space. Call them at this number for more information: 580-256-7664
I'm from enid and wanting to go on a good hiking trail does this place have any and does it cost anything to come out and go walking in the woods

There is a fee to enter the park - the trails are not challenging. It is very pretty and I am sure you would enjoy just visiting the park. We camped there. If you hike with your dog, there are tons of sand spurs that will get in your dog's paws.
