If you are looking for the hottest dance club, this isn’t it. If you are looking for the musing of hipsters, or a poetry slam, this isn’t it. If you are looking for line dancing and the honky-tonk life-style, this isn’t it. If you are looking for a dive bar that has been around for a long time, this is your place. It is smoky and has some interesting characters, and if you go enough times, they might learn your name, like on Cheers. There is a patio area for those that need the fresh air.

On a hot afternoon we were looking for a cool beer. Arnie's hit the spot. A moderate (8?) tap selection including local brews. A really friendly crowd and staff. Our skill on the shuffle board was less impressive than ambiance. Note for non smokers, as we all are, this is a smoking bar, it didn't spoil our visit.

We stopped in before our even at the BOK. Very quaint and enjoyable atmosphere. If the weather is nice be sure to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the outdoors and inviting decor. Bartenders were friendly and accommodating.

Fun place in the Blue Dome District of Tulsa. Not just St. Pat's Day but every day of the week. A definite one of a kind.

I have written many reviews on trip advisor. This is the first time I have given an establishment a 1. I went to Arnie's Bar because it was in downtown Tulsa. It had an irish flag, so that seemed promising. I walked inside, and everyone was smoking. I do not smoke, so it frustrates me that so many bars in Tulsa allow smoking. Okay, the presence of smoke was in and of itself not a deal killer. I asked the bartender what he recommends, and he gruffly said, I don't know what you drink. So I ordered a bulleit rye. The bartender did not smile. He seemed a little angry. The lady to the left of me may have been drinking for hours. There was no conversation. There was no chatter. There were people in there talking to each other but they kept to themselves. In 30 minutes, no one spoke to me, even though I am friendly and outgoing. I asked the bartender to give me my tab. I didn't even finish my drink. This bar is boring, depressing, dingy, and I just cannot see a reason why you would want to spend your money or your time there.
