Beautiful outdoor recreation facility.

If you walk around the park, it is a beautiful 4.0 mile loop. There is a walking/running path the entire way. Inside, there is a massive golf course, park with swings and a restroom, first class tennis courts, a pool, croquet club that meets for free on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and a library. I was here for two weeks, and I walked this loop every morning (leaving the Doubletree just .02 miles from the beginning of the loop). It is so very clean and well-maintained.

Great for a Shaded walk

This park is loaded with old shade trees, wide pathways & old school playgrounds. Great spot for a picnic, jog, stroll or afternoon with the kids.

Great south Tulsa gem
Sep 2018 • Friends
The 18 hole golf course is excellent considering it is a heavily played muni course. Very good pro shop and the par 3 course has been totally rebuilt. The tennis center looks great and the play and pool area get lots of traffic on nice days.

Great Updated Par 3 & Practice Facilities
Oct 2018 • Friends
LaForture Golf Facilities really did a great job upgrading the Par 3, - new sand bunkers, and greens. Several Golf Buddies have played the Par 3 & the new lighting makes it look like playing in day light. The Driving Range also has new lighting - it really makes practicing so much better. Plus the New lighting is around the putting greens too!

"Great Small Golf Course"
Oct 2018 • Solo
There is a small golf course and park. It is located in the south part of Tulsa and clean. There is picnic areas and baseball fields on the Southwest side of the park. It is kid friendly and open all year long.

Feed the Ducks
Jul 2018 • Family
Take some old bread and stop off and feed the ducks. This is a great adventure for smaller children, even our 10 year old grandson enjoyed the experience. Enter the duck feeding area off Yale towards 51st street. Plenty of ducks and turtles to feed.

A great place for a peaceful walk!
Jun 2018 • Solo
It's a little over 3 miles. I've walked around it hundreds of times, over the years. I there is always a lot going on and the people I see are usually very friendly. I've watched crickt, golf, softball games, even sat and fed the ducks before... it's a peaceful place. I love it.
