In a block of remarkable Art Deco buildings from Tulsa's oil boom days, this is a stand-out. It's less than a block from the Art Deco "Museum" (q.v.). No problem parking nearby.

We went to Tulsa to see the glory of art deco. We did not appreciate that places like Philtower and other downtown classics would be locked up tight on Saturdays and Sundays. So we were disappointed and had to be satisfied with peeking in windows. B e sure to plan your days carefully.

Just strolling downtown I decided to go inside, and I was really impressed by the Art Deco architecture. Then I visited the Philcade Building across the street, also very nice. I never realized Tulsa has all this Art Deco architecture from its heydays.

If you want to see some outstanding art deco, make sure you check out the Philtower downtown. The immediate surounding area has many examples of Tulsa's outstanding art deco. The Tulsa Historical Society offers tours of the downtown art deco. Check out their website for more information.

This building was occupied by Tulsa oilman, Waite Phillips. He spared no expense in having architects design its beautiful interior. A visit to Tulsa is not complete without a visit to this luxurious structure.

I would like to know more about this building, its directory of companies and establishments operating in the building.
Being this a Historic Building in Tulsa, it seems to me that it is necessary to know with which establishments, shops and companies work.
Is there a fee? Can I just walk in?

It is open to anyone that walks in--no fee that I know of.
