We go every summer and fall. I love the park setting around the zoo. Some of the exhibits are older and make me feel sad for the animal in it. The others are new and are very interesting! I prefer this zoo over the zoo closest to me (Oklahoma city)

Tulsa zoo is ok fun to take your grandkids. However, the zoo is lacking. Most animals are not in site, or very few animals to see, currently having construction. This zoo needs more of their food places open around the zoo, on hot days, no place to buy a drink, water in water fountain is hot. Desperately in need of... More

A significant portion of the zoo is under renovation, but there is still plenty to make it worth the visit. Take a picnic lunch, because there are plenty of picnic tables in shady areas. Note: After entering the gate, it is important to turn right and work your way around counter clockwise so you can best access the several large... More

We had fun at the zoo. My kids are 8,2&1 and they really enjoyed it there. We have a year pass so we will be going back.

We enjoyed our trip to the Tulsa Zoo! They were adding a new space, so there was some construction, but it didn't take away from any of the experience. The only down to the zoo, was that in the primate and reptile conservation center, there was only 2 or 3 primates. Most of all the cages were empty. The grizzly... More

Just an average zoo. Could be kept up a little better, somewhat outdated. It was alright. Would not compare to Oklahoma City or others

Compared to other larger city zoo's the Tulsa zoo is smaller and really showing its age in some of the areas. They are making some new improvements there, but the changes are very slow and long over due. We have been to the Oklahoma City, National Zoo Washington DC and the Columbus Ohio zoo's and they blow Tulsa's zoo away.... More

I have a new coworker who is here from the Bahamas she has a 2 year old daughter and I took them both to the zoo for an awesome time. The children's petting zoo, zoo train and carousel ride are a must do for kids. They also have wagons you can rent for the day to make it easier for... More

Visited the zoo today for the first time in a few years. In the past I have always enjoyed my visits here, was a really great zoo. However over the last few years they have been hit with some high profile animal deaths, polar bears, giraffes, etc, I wasn't sure if it would have an effect on my zoo experience... More
