Servicing 11 of us with facials and massages, this visit was top class, very organized and a perfect pre-wedding celebration day. All service providers were kind and attentive and Riley, our scheduler was top notch in making sure everything went smoothly and no hiccups. Will definitely return and recommend.

This is truly a destination in Tulsa! The atmosphere was sophisticated, while being very relaxing. Each service provider was very knowledgable. The facility was fabulous as well. Would recommend Spa Lux to anyone!

I would recommend this place to anyone, as long as there is a significant change in the management staff. They are extremely unprofessional in front of their customers.

Shawn, I regret to hear about your evaluation of our management team. As the owner of the business I take such feedback very seriously and will investigate into any particular situation that may have caused you any unpleasant experience. Since in accordance with our records your visit to SPA LUX was in 2009, I would like to ask you to contact me at your convenience at 918-615-3339 to discuss these details in order for us to prevent anything negative from happening in the future. Thank you! Taras

Pretty disappointed in the experience. Their site says 55 minute massage, we had about 30 minutes of massage time. The atmosphere is nice, the front desk receptionist was nice, and our masseuses were also nice, however, they take you back and have you put a robe on and then you sit in the lobby and they come out and pour some lukewarm water into a basin with salt for your feet. Apparently that is supposed to be part of your “massage”. Nowhere on their site does it say anything about that being a part of the massage, I asked the receptionist and she said, “it says it on our site.” No it doesn’t. I checked. She then said I’ll leave a note saying next time that you guys don’t want the foot bath. There won’t be a next time. I’ve had $30 massages that were longer and better than what we paid $100 each for. We had a couples massage, and the room was a little tight, so my masseuse kept bumping into my table the entire time. It felt like she was in a rush. It was difficult to enjoy the experience. When she asked me to flip over onto my back I could tell that there was no way that this was anywhere near her a 55 minute massage. I checked my phone as soon as they exited the room. 30 minutes is generous, our actual time was probably about 25 minutes. Unfortunately, I can in no way recommend Spa Lux. I left not feeling nearly as good as I usually do after a massage. Very disappointed. We were excited about the steam and dry sauna, however, the steam room in the men’s area was closed. I also asked the receptionist about this, and she replied, “no, it’s open.” There is a sign stating that it closes every night after 7 PM. Our massages ended right at 7:00. The receptionist took off 10%. I’m sorry but when you take off almost half of our massage time, you need to take off almost half the cost, not 10%, especially when we paid extra for “muscle meltdown” and they had us down for Swedish, so the therapists had to rush around getting set-up for the muscle meltdown instead. All in all this was not an impressive experience.

We truly regret that you didn't enjoy your last visit to Spa Lux. Our team works very hard to provide the best client experience even during these tempting times with so many new restrictions imposed on us. You did have two of very established and experienced therapists who had been in business for over a decade. Since all of the time is logged, unfortunately we can't agree that the massages were "only 25 minutes". However, we understand: all massages seems to go too quickly. Because, it seems like you didn't enjoy the complementary foot bath, we recommend just skipping it next time, as it is up to the client whether they want to have a foot bath or skip it in favor of extending their massage. It is stated on our web site that "PLEASE NOTE: The amount of time indicated on the menu for each service is inclusive of the optional foot bath. If you prefer not to have a foot bath before your first service, please, inform the front desk upon arrival." We also regret that there was some other areas of confusion for you, such as steam rooms that were open and available for your use, and the type of the massage that you chose. We also always offer a complimentary service (free of charge) should your service be performed not at a professional level. We regret you decided not to take that opportunity.

My girlfriend booked us a couples massage listed on the website as a Swedish massage side by side. When we went for the massage they informed her that she booked a single appointment and can’t get a couples massage. In reality she booked the Swedish side by side but there booking process requires you to book two separate appointments for the same time to do a couples massage. Allegedly they call people if they book one side by side appointment. You would think to uncomplicate things and reduce work load and redundancy they would just have 1 option for 2 guests vs requiring 2 appointments.

Anyways it was her first time booking and did not understand the process. The manager and staff were completely unapologetic and put back on her that it was her fault for not understanding. They did not say sorry or offer any empathy and then proceeded to tell her she has to pay in full for the massage regardless of the confusion, poor customer service, or lack of services rendered.

I hope this review saves someone else from making the same mistake and honestly I obviously don’t recommend this place to anyone. The company should fix their poor online booking system, teach the manager how to offer customer service, and stop charging people for services they don’t render when the root cause is them.

Enjoy the $110. We will spend money literally anywhere else.

IT'S IN THE DETAILS!!!! Not that this isn't a NICE spa, it is. But, it certainly is not the world class luxury spa that they heavily advertise themselves as. Yet, they CHARGE as if they were. The steam room and sauna were nice and the changing room/showers were nice. Ascetically this spa IS very nice and clean (if you overlook the leftover trash found in the lockers from previous guests). BUT BUT BUT world class spas offer TOWELS (you don't have to wonder around looking for them or back up to reception to ask for one. I had 2 ladies, soaking wet, asking me in the shower room where I got my towel), world class spas have a refreshment center in their relaxation room (tea, coffee, crackers, cookies, fruit, etc..daily newspapers, news magazines - not just womens gossip rags), relaxing SPA music int he background (not uncomfortable silence) and knowing that their patrons shower they offer shaving cream, shavers, hair brushes/combs, curling irons, straightening irons, body cream, face cream, underarm deodorant, body spray, mouthwash, etc.. - and all of these items are usually the stuff they are selling in the front room. You FEEL like you are being totally pampered and taken care of. Spa Lux offered a bottle of Jergens and a blow dryer, a water cooler in the corner with styrofoam cups and I had to go back out to the reception area to find out if I could get a cup of tea (which then took 15 minutes of scrambling to obtain and I was never offered a refill in the 2 hours I was there).

If they reduced their pricing by about 30-35%% and stopped misrepresenting themselves then I would have been very happy with my experience at this spa. But again, you shouldn't have to bring your gym bag to a LUXURY WORLD CLASS Spa. You shouldn't have to walk back up to reception, naked under a PAPER THIN robe to find a towel or ask for a beverage or sit in complete silence waiting for your foot bath (required, by the way. plain hot water in a salad bowl in for 3 minutes).

A note to the owner, call it like it is - a NICE day spa, invest $1000 and drop your pricing and you'll be SLAMMED. You may be able to fool some people some of the time but you can't fool everyone all of the time. And employ some staff!! Geesh! One receptionist at the front is NOT enough to man the entire spa facility. Business 101.

I went into this spa today to hopefully schedule an appointment and perhaps get a tour. The woman behind the counter never even acknowledged me and my friend. She was on the phone. It was obviously a personal call from her conversation. This receptionist did not wave to us to acknowledge that she would be with us shortly nor did she speak to us. The spa was not busy. There were no other customers in the lobby area. We stayed for almost 10 minutes waiting to be helped. We looked around the lobby. It became apparent that she had not interest in helping us. We finally left. I obviously won't be back. I have never been treated so rudely.

The management team of SPA LUX reviewed this incident. Following are the findings: the reviewer walked into SPA LUX with a partner and a large amount of marketing literature (in spite of "no solicitation" signs). The front desk manager was on the phone helping an actual client to re-schedule and appointment. She acknowledged the reviewer by gesticulating that “it would be a minute wait” before she would be able to help them. The reviewer walked through the front lobby and after not more than a minute wait (before the manager finished the phone conversation) just walked out of the door. SPA LUX team provides extensive personal service to each client who comes to SPA LUX for service. Every client is always treated with respect, and being “rude” to a client simply means an immediate dismissal for any employee of SPA LUX. In this case however, we believe that the title “Rude” goes to the person who posted this review and thus insulted an establishment by misrepresenting some simple facts and blaming an establishment for her own offensiveness.

I bought a gift certificate in March of 2013 for $50 for a gentleman's pedicure, it took some convincing for my husband to actually want to get a pedicure! However, when we called to schedule it, I was told they no longer had a nail tech and i could get another service or wait until they hired another nail tech, of course they had no idea when that would be! I told the lady i would just take a refund and was informed they would only refund me $40!! Because that was their "policy". Which I understand, but i took the time to drive there and through no fault of my own they lost their nail tech. I think a full refund would have been the smart business move. Instead, it would cost me $10 because i made the mistate of buying a gift certificate from Spa Lux. NEVER AGAIN!

We understand your frustration. However, SPA LUX no longer offers pedicures/manicures. We apologize for the inconvenience. You are welcome to receive a full refund if you don't want to use your gift certificate towards other services. Our standard gift certificate return policy is that only 80% of the original cost can be refunded.

From the minute I walked in, until I walked out I was in awe at how gorgeous and modern Spa Lux was. I loved the high ceilings and clean lines. Being new to the spa, I was a little nervous not knowing where everything was but the staff alleviated my anxiety quickly by serving me and showing me around. A little hint, if you get to your appointment early, you can enjoy their steam shower (it's FREE!) and let me tell you, this was Incredible!

Needless to say, I have been back numerous times since then and they always treat me like its the first time I have been there. They are so professional at Spa Lux and are always caring for their clients with the utmost respect. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone coming to Tulsa!

I had an unpleasant experience here. The service was not good and it seemed dark, empty and uninviting. In my opinion, the staff needs better training.
