this has a great collection of American art. probably the biggest surprise is to head downstairs and check out the archives and drawers full of Indian artifacts. Very interesting trip for adults and kids alike.

Gilcrease is tucked away in an area that is very unassuming. You may wonder if there really is a museum where you are headed, but then, there it is. So beautiful with gardens and on site restaurant that overlooks the beautiful country-side. It is expansive...More

We went to view the Remington exhibit, but was impressed not only by that, but the other areas of the museum as well.

Great place to take the kids (free for them) just a small cost for adults. They have much to offer and have many special exhibits as well during the year.

really enjoyed this museum. unlike others of his era who collected only the masters, Gilcrease collected some more contemporary native american artists. the Native American exhibits were laid out by tribe/culture rather than intermixed which was nice.

Very nice place with excellent collections of Native American Fine Art. Ran by the University of Tulsa. Very nice restaurant and beautiful grounds. Will definitely do a repeat in a couple of years!

By far the #1 art museum in Tulsa. Gorgeous grounds, even in January, and a marvelous collection of western paintings and sculptures.....by the best of the southwest artists.
