The cabin was clean on the inside. Coffee maker and appliances. Extra pillows, sheets, and towels. The porch/deck of the cabin was really dirty. A good broom sweep would be in order before a guest arrives.
Boat docks very steep!! No courtesy docks were in the water for launching a boat. Boat launch is about a mile from the cabins. The cove behind the cabins is not conducive for tying up the boat and going to the cabin. Courtesy slips are available at the marina and a person could unhook the trailer and drive the distance to the cabins if they choose. We found out there are a few rental golf carts which would help for back and forth also.
The marina restaurant (winn’s) food was good and there was live music on the patio.
We would visit again, noting small issues, and know more of what to expect.
Four stars because of the very steep boat ramps and dirty porch at the cabin.

My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom cabin at Keystone State Park yesterday. The Keystone Park, campgrounds, RV areas, and boat docks are very well maintained, and ALL of the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. Our cabin had a nice view of Lake Keystone, and had two decks. Sitting on the decks afforded us great views of the many songbirds and waterfowl flying close to our cabin. The trip became "complete" when three adult American Bald Eagles flew within 50-60' from us! Bald Eagles are truly magnificent birds! The cabin had a nice living room/kitchen area, and an adequate sized bedroom, and the bathroom was definitely tiny. The windows were new, and the interior looked as if it had been painted within a recent time period. The exterior...a totally different situation. Peeling paint and rotten wood siding definitely needs to be addressed. Deferred maintenance is not a good thing. All in all we truly enjoyed the Keystone "experience."

Just passing though, we drove across the dam and pulled into the downstream side of the dam. Very impressive! Definitely worth stopping. We walked all the way up near the base of the dam. Lots of large birds including herons and pelicans. Nice restrooms at the parking lot as well.

We also turned in at the state park itself to see if there was anything worth seeing on a "drive thru" like ours...but not much to see. Drive up to the Ancient Forest instead if you want views and hikes.

July 2020 Stayed in Cabin 6. Very good reservation process fast check in. Very clean and comfortable. Due to Covid you do have to bring you own cookware but there is a full size stove oven and microwave, as well as a full size fridge. There is a flat screen TV with dish network handy for rainy times or late night news. AC worked very well. It is so relaxing to have morning coffee on the picnic table out front, It was 2009 when i was last out here, however I intend to be back.

We stayed at the Paradise cabin for 2 with a jetted tub for 2. The tub and view were awesome!! The cabin is a cool design but showing it’s age and I wouldn’t call it clean from eye level up. This is not good since it has a large vaulted ceiling. Lots of cobwebs. You will need to bring all of your own cooking things there isn’t even a disposable cup for the coffee maker. You do get coffee with cream and sugar packets but that is it. They do supply towels, bedding, soap and shampoo.

Located in Green Country area at the end of the section. No water or electric, lots of room to spare. Can use small tent trailer or tents. Stays partially shaded so nice and cool when needed. View of the lake and pretty much everything around. Common water hydrant available at the bathrooms.

This is a beautiful cabin, that is a great value for the price paid! It has a full kitchen, fireplace, very nice bathroom and a 2-person Jacuzzi tub in the main room. I would highly recommend it to everyone... The view is fantastic and the park itself is well cared for.

December 22-24 2017

Used a groupon and booked two weeks ahead. 70* Dec. 21 but 33* with rain and later sleet and snow on December 22.
My daughter and I and her dog arrived about 3pm and check in was painless. The cabin was warm and we made it home.
Central heat and air but there's a fireplace. Bring your own wood. Kindling is plentiful, if it doesn rain, sleet or snow.
Our cabin had a sleeper couch and 1 bedroom. My daughter and dog took the bed and I'll say the sleeper couch was comfortable. There were pillows, sheets and 1 blanket. I'd brought extra so we were ok but you might request extra blankets if you go during cold, or possible cold, weather.
Kitchen was fundamental. Place setting for 4. 10" skillet, pots (not all had lids), lg plastic bowl, cookie sheet. No paper towels, foil, plastic wrap or any salt/pepper/sugar. There is a coffee pot with enough for one pot of coffee/etc. It's not AirBnB.
Dirty towels/linen is placed in a plastic tote with a lid and left outside by 11am for replacement. You get a new tote with whatever you've turned in dirty, only clean. Worked for me.
Since it was really cold I didn't spend much time outside but the daughter and her dog went on several hikes. The main day we were there they traveled 7 miles and she would have liked to stay another day because they hadn't traveled it all.
They have some groceries and things at the park check in place. There's a Dollar General Store about 5 miles away and plenty of places to eat, in or takeout, in Manford, about 6 miles away.
Very enjoyable, at 65 I don't do all that I used to but I was perfectly happy at Keystone Cabin #10, 3pm Dec 22 ~ 10am Dec 24 2017.
I'd like to come back in warmer weather.
Safe travels, cmohfr

Due to flooding the boat ramps were closed, most of the park amenities were flooded, and there was no swim areas we asked to cancel our reservation and get a refund and they wouldn't allow it, saying it was too close to the camp date, even thought the flooding had just happened the day before. So we just moved dates, then a month later it was all still flooded so we called to move dates again and they saind no, against policy. We lost $284 in reservations because the lake was flooded and they would not work with us. Will never reserve there again!

First 2 visits to cabins/park were great. Not this time... Returned to cabin w/ wife after dinner in Tulsa to find door of cabin kicked open and luggage stolen. All clothes, electronics, & medications stolen ($300 worth). Mixed experience with park rangers. Responding officer helpful, filed report. Tried to return next day to search wooded area around cabin for any of our items that thieves may have discarded, but senior park ranger was a total jerk, refused to let me search for my own belongings—might spook other cabin residents! Found out that break-ins had occurred a few months prior, but still no security cameras. Good to know that our taxes are paying this incompetent person to fail to ensure safety of park guests, fail to let other guests know about issues, fail to provide reasonable level of assistance.
