Bridge over river
Oct 2021 • Family
Bridge was neat but not in a great spot. Really nothing else to see there and walked there from downtown. Did not look like a great part of town.

Rustic and a Rush!
Sep 2021
Enjoyed this very much! You do need to be aware that this is a very rustic pedestrian only bridge. On initial view I did question whether or not it was safe - some boards were rather questionable- but I decided to go for it and enjoyed the thrill.

Not much to it
Sep 2021
This is located just a few blocks south of the Mercantile on the main strip. It's in a very run-down part of town and starts and empties at some derelict-looking houses. It took all of about 10 minutes to walk across and back. Cool that it's almost 100 years old and might be fun for kids, but as adults, we were not impressed. Been there, done that. Won't do it again.

Cool little bridge
Aug 2021 • Family
Bridge was a nice stop off. Jessica the local methican American met us and told my wife she was the devil and made under the breath comments about tossing her off the bridge. All bark and no bite. Would go bounce on the bridge again.

Fun to do

My wife and me went to Pawhuska. Not realizing the town is pretty closed for the day. To kill some time, we walked over to check out the swinging bridge. As you walk up your not sure if you should, but you had to because it was there. So we decided to give it a go. It’s old and rickety. With old boards that probably be replaced. But the view was nice and walked over and back.

Warning: Feral Cats
Jul 2021 • Family
It is a cool bridge built in the 1920s rich in history. However the area around it is very overgrown and feral cats were everywhere. I had a cat scratch me twice and all I was doing was crossing the bridge. Pawhuska should take some of the $ they are receiving from the Pioneer Woman boom and use it to revive this cool piece of history.

A little out of the way - but fun to go across. Bridge is exactly as presented. Enjoyed the views as well.

Just a bridge
May 2021 • Friends
It’s just a rickety old bridge. Kind of scary to walk across and the river below is sort of cool. It’s about a 10-minute activity.

Fun for a short visit
Jan 2021
The best thing about this attraction is the location: it's just down the road from the Mercantile. We visited on a Saturday around noon, and there were only a few other people around. That is good, because I wouldn't want a lot of people on the bridge with me (it looked very sturdy, but I am a bit of a chicken). It doesn't take much time, the river is pretty and it was safe, even if I'm chicken. There is not a lot of parking space though.
