I went to the Art Museum Saturday to see the Quilt Display. This was my first time at the Art Museum. My group looked at all the Art which included neon and beautiful glass blown pieces. I was impressed by the variety of art on display.

Don't be intimidated by the high-end atmosphere, the service is friendly and the food is good at a very affordable price. My 1/2 club sandwich and cup of soup were both excellent and filled me up for $10. You can get a burger with a salad for the same price. The service was relatively fast and efficient at the peak... The exhibit that was at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art was Quilts and Color. A couple of the quilts were very interesting to see, however a large room and a small room was a bit overkill. There were a couple of interactive activities to help illustrate the mechanics of quilting. There was also a small exhibit of Portraits of... More

The OKC MOA has some pretty great exhibits. On the weekends, they have special things for kids to do which involve the whole family and you can take your creations home with you. The price is pretty cheap, too.

The glass work by Chihuly is amazing. Other exhibits change periodically so check the website for current showings. There is also a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner and happy hour on the outdoor terrace after work.

A good permanent collection of art, with outstanding temporary exhibits that appeal to broad tastes: artifacts, art. etc The fabulous exhibit of Chihuly blown glass is worth the trip in itself!
