I love this place. One can wander the quiet trails and observe nature during any season. I especially love seeing Spring Creek where it meanders through the park. You can see many birds, deer, and other wildlife, as well as wild flowers and trees in abundance. It is a great place to take your family or go alone.

This hidden oasis right off of Memorial Rd. is a wonderful place for a walk any time of year. Fireflies are the stars right now, and even the most dedicated of the concrete jungle will be surprised how calming it's canopy can be (the trees).

This is right by Mercy Hospital complex. Quite a few nice hotels quite near, lots of very good eating places and a shopping district. Amazing this area has been preserved. I used to bring my son here when he was little (he's grown with his own kids now). We always had a fun time and very little $ required. A... More

The nature center is informative. The trails are short enough for kids to enjoy from about age 4. I have pushed a large wheeled stroller on the trials as well. There are usually lots of turtles, squirrels, prairie dogs, and fish to see.

This is a really lovely park in Oklahoma City with a great play area, ample shade, a forest where children can play and build forts from branches, several walking trails and an indoor nature center. The nature center is small, but air conditioned and has restrooms. The center has several animals inside and sometimes hosts educational events for families and... More

Martin Nature Park is is a wonderful place to see nature in Oklahoma City. It has several miles of trails all easily to walk. You might see a deer, carp or other fish and birds during your walk. My grandson and I are regulars.

My 15 year old son is a typical teenager. He rarely wants to go anywhere I suggest. However, he REQUESTED to go the Martin Nature Park! He and two buddies met up at the park and spent 3 hours wandering the forest and trail looking for Pokemon. He had not been to the park in years, and neither had I.... More

Small park with a couple really good trails. Save your time with the visitor center, nothing there. Enjoy the walk, enjoy nature, as long or short as you wish. Great for little kids, some teens and most adults.

Martin Park is such a great place to take a short hike and enjoy the outdoors. I love the bridges and the lookout tower. My kids have really enjoyed playing in the creek, and mostly feeding the turtles and catfish. Be sure to stop in the Visitor's Center to see the exhibits.
