It is a very tranquil place. Even when it is crowded, it feels peaceful. The hikes are nice and good for all ages. The playground is very cute!

A pretty place for a walk with lots of level trails. I do wish they were a bit better signed. You are not going to wander off a trail but you don't always know which one you are on. A couple of signs that say "this way back to nature center: would be helpful

OH MY GOODNESS!!! This has been the highlight of our sightseeing! We spent HOURS here this morning hiking all of the trials and taking in all of the wildlife. We even saw a DEER! A beautiful doe by the water eating the foliage! We couldn’t believe it. Waking to the creek and seeing the small falls was beautiful and serene. LOTS of shade on these trails makes it nice to stay out of the sun. Even though this park is so close highway, once you start hiking your way in you would never know. Quiet and reflective. We had an amazing time here and if we are ever back in OKC this will be on the top of our list. A truly beautiful day, even in the June heat. Highly recommend! This is an easy park to walk through. No need to be an avid hiker or anything like that. I am not a fit person and I was able to walk the three miles of trails no problem. This is a MUST SEE!!

This is a great free park with walking trails and a great play ground. Get out there with your kids or just for a nice, quick hike.

This was one of the favorite places we visit in Oklahoma. There are walking trails and a bird watching area. Trail C leads to a red rock area where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. There is also a park for kids to play in.

My husband and I took a walk through this wilderness retreat and saw some deer, beautiful birds and just enjoyed the nature around us. It's not a place to walk for exercise but a place to marvel and enjoy. We spent a lot of time at the creek just enjoying the sound of water.

This park has wonderful trails year round. Each season has different charms. We enjoy going down to the big red rocks area where the river comes down and playing by the water. We also like to bring bread and feed the fish over the bridge. They put on quite a show for ya. Not too far from the Quail Springs Mall. It's amazing that such a fun nature place is right in the middle of town. Some of the trails are a bit rough for strollers but not impossible.

we live in the Oklahoma city area, and martin park nature center has been a favorite with my family (parents, and brothers- now my husband, kids, and I) for many many years. we love the far away feel of the hike, and that its right in the city. the buildings are fun and informative, my kids love watching the bees. we have seen lots of different bugs, snakes, birds and other wildlife out here while hiking. there is also a pavilion for having a sack lunch, and a cool playground, for getting those little extra bits of energy out before the drive home so the kids will sleep like angels in the car. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone who loves being out doors.
