Best park area around city for natural setting.

Enjoyed the walking trails. Nice area for kids of all ages. However, it is closed Mondays and some holidays.

We have taken our grandkids to Martin Park for years and always enjoyed the trails, nature center, and meandering stream filled with gigantic carp, catfish and turtles to feed. The Nature Center is currently being renovated with almost all exhibits empty. The staff we encountered seemed hurried and not at all friendly. However, the hiking trails still offer a solitude and... Martin Nature Park is a nice place to go and walk. I personally wish they would plant some more native trees and the like because there is a lot of flat, open land that you look at while you walk. I guess that is this area of OK though so it's to be expected. There is a little learning center... More

The nature center itself is a bit odd and lack luster, but there is a nice playground, and the walking trails are great. There's also a pavilion to eat lunch.

Hidden jewel in OKC!! If you are looking for a fun outdoor activity you need to visit this place. There is a playground area, several different nature trails, a big creek area that you can climb all over. Plus there is signage explaining things you are seeing, so it's educational as well.

We enjoyed the playground, the visitors center, and a nature walk while visiting. The trail wasn't stroller friendly (maybe if you had one with big wheels?), but otherwise we really enjoyed it.

We have been to Martin Nature several times. We enjoy walking the trails, enjoying the wildlife and beauty. There are a few other bridges, several "look-outs" and a fascinating little nature building loaded with education for the young and old. If you haven't been, GO!

My favorite place for a nearby hike. If you go, leave your dog behind (no dogs allowed), there is lots of other wildlife including turtles, ducks, geese, and even a view-able beehive! Martin Nature Park has a lot of seasonal events for the kiddos. All of this for free!

Thank Laura T
