Nice trails, great for elementary age kids

The nature center is informative. The trails are short enough for kids to enjoy from about age 4. I have pushed a large wheeled stroller on the trials as well. There are usually... read more

This is a really lovely park in Oklahoma City with a great play area, ample shade, a forest where children can play and build forts from branches, several walking trails and an indoor nature center. The nature center is small, but air conditioned and has restrooms. The center has several animals inside and sometimes hosts educational events for families and... More

Martin Nature Park is is a wonderful place to see nature in Oklahoma City. It has several miles of trails all easily to walk. You might see a deer, carp or other fish and birds during your walk. My grandson and I are regulars.

My 15 year old son is a typical teenager. He rarely wants to go anywhere I suggest. However, he REQUESTED to go the Martin Nature Park! He and two buddies met up at the park and spent 3 hours wandering the forest and trail looking for Pokemon. He had not been to the park in years, and neither had I.... More

Small park with a couple really good trails. Save your time with the visitor center, nothing there. Enjoy the walk, enjoy nature, as long or short as you wish. Great for little kids, some teens and most adults.

Martin Park is such a great place to take a short hike and enjoy the outdoors. I love the bridges and the lookout tower. My kids have really enjoyed playing in the creek, and mostly feeding the turtles and catfish. Be sure to stop in the Visitor's Center to see the exhibits.

The Martin Park Nature Center is open daily from 5a-9p during the summer hours. The visitor’s center opens at 9am daily except it is closed on Monday. Restrooms are within the visitor’s center, so there is no access on Mondays. The park entrance and parking is free. There are benches along most of the trails within the park. There is... More

My husband and I walk all over our state...primitive trails, grass trails, gravel trails, etc. This is a great set of trails in an urban setting. The whole circuit was a little over 2 miles and included grass, dirt, and gravel. This is a really nice park for walking.

I took my daughter and grandsons here for the afternoon. The boys had fun exploring and looking at the "critters" in the main building

Just a short walk from downtown (opposite direction of Bricktown) to a very nice park with lots of water features and walks. A nice breath of fresh air....
