The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public...

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City.

A children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, the Park House restaurant, “splash fountains,” as well as paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place in which to find solitude with nature or seek community and the company of others. The Myriad Gardens provides an elegant backdrop for events both large and small, ranging from concerts at the Bandshell to intimate weddings in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory.

Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. Classes range from story reading, making chocolate, wreath-making workshops to the annual Oklahoma Gardening School and more.

Thanks to a multi-million dollar renovation partially funded by the city, as well as a general revitalized interest in a vibrant downtown, the Gardens quickly is becoming an integral symbol of the new Oklahoma City and those who call it home.

This is great for first time tourists and the locals alike. I always recommend a visit through the Myriad Gardens, especially during the warming months when things are blooming, for those that have never been to downtown OKC before. There is a lot to enjoy just by walking, for free, through the gardens. The gardens also host many events -... More

This place was amazing! We went back in April and it was very pretty! We went inside the greenhouse, which was cool. We were competing to see who could find the prettiest flower. I would go back!

What a treat to find in the downtown area! Large variety of trees, plants and the ducks and geese like it too. They have water features, an outdoor ice rink and a children's area.

The area outside is really nice and it's cool that water runs under the building. Only had one wheel chair and we had a member of our a group has mobility issues and not all of the garden is handicap accessible. Parking was a pain in the butt. Inside is okay but would have been better if it had butterflies... More

We raise orchids in a small greenhouse and always visit the Myriad Gardens when we visit OKC, in fact that is the reason we visit OKC. Lots of orchids in interesting settings and of course high palms and bananas. A tropical environment in the middle of the city.

I absolutely love this place. Having lived in Oklahoma 16 years now, I am amazed by how much the Gardens have changed. Add to that the number of events and activities offered to visitors of all ages. The best time of year to visit is spring and summer, but the place is so well-kept and maintained, it's worth visiting any... More

Enjoyed the indoor/outdoor gardens. Lovely. We were there mid fall and there were still lovely roses and some green plants. Wonderful family even taking place. Parking stank.

The grounds all around the center are free to the public, and are a lot of fun. It includes a wonderful children's section. The botanical plants inside are also very nice.

We got it as the garden was closing. We saw the highlights. Exterior has some great children's play areas. The gardens are on several levels and lots of special photo opportunities. It was smaller than I expected but did not disappoint. Really nice block long walk through greenery. Outside has several additional areas of water and gardens
