About
Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of downtown. A half-acre children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, restaurant space, splash fountains, and paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place to seek solitude with nature, or seek community and the company of others. Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. PLEASE NOTE: The Conservatory is currently closed for major interior renovations and will reopen to the public in fall 2022. The Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory’s unique design has earned attention and praise in the architectural community. It is 224 feet long, 70 feet in diameter, and is covered by 3,028 sections of translucent, double-layered acrylic panels.

Nice stroll when in downtown OKC
Oct 2021
This is a nice area to walk around and see the many varieties of flowers as well as seasonal events. It's within walking distance of several downtown attractions and event venues.

Fun in downtown
Aug 2021 • Family
Went there and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The glass conservatory is closed for a remodel.

Beautiful flowers throughout the grounds and plenty of shade in the children’s garden area. Our daughter loved the playground and the splash pad (only until mid September).

Would love to see a show at the amphitheater but of course COVID put a hold on that for now. Amphitheater is showing signs of not being used (cobwebs on the seats)

Besides that a great place for the family

We could have spent more time here but didn’t have time:(

We stopped and visited the botanical Center on our way out of town before it got too hot in the morning. Everything was well-maintained and fun to look at. The variety in elevation and walking trails, and fountains and wildlife made it an entertaining place to visit and the best part is it’s completely free. There might be a cost to go across the glass bridge but it was closed. I highly recommend this wonderful free Garden in downtown Oklahoma City

Nice Experience in OKC
Jul 2021
First- it's not closed. This notification is misleading. Only the main building is closed for the rest of the years for renovation. The grounds are open.

Myriad is a great oasis in the city. The Children's Garden is nice and has a fun water feature. My daughter immediately fell in love with the turtles, ducks, and fish. We spent two hours on a warm Tuesday morning and had a great time. It never felt crowded, and we were able to be leisurely, The plants and Children's Garden seemed particularly well tended.

My only complaint is that the bathrooms and trash needed attention. We were there after the 4th of July weekend, so maybe the crew hadn't gotten to it yet. There were full trash cans and beer bottles on the ground. The bathrooms in these kinds of places are kind of hard to keep clean, but these needed a good round of cleaning.

The gardens are well-kept, with interesting plantings. There is a nice balance of shade and sun, and a children’s area.

Good stop to take a walk with kids
Jun 2021 • Family
Absolutely awesome. It was very hot when we went, but there was a free splash pad on either side with in a block of walking. Bring small treats to feed the ducks and coy in the pond!

Beautiful garden

But Crystal Bridge Conservatory is closed until 2022 but the rest of the garden is well taken care of and beautiful. Great place to take a walk, right on the street car route.

Well Done OKC
May 2021 • Family
A true treasure for OKC. It is beautiful. It reminded my family of our stroll through Central Park in NYC but it is so much more bc it is in the middle of OKC. I remember the area being sketchy and unsafe. It is now a wonderful family friendly destination in connection with the Scissortail Park.

Awesome Park
Apr 2021
I was blown away at how nice this park was. Its broken up into a few sections. The lake with a cool two level walking bridge. The surrounding parks with kids area, dog park, and plenty of spots to sit. And a theater area. Also a restaurant area with large patio, which did appear to be closed. Regardless you could spend hours here relaxing or walking around. Highly recommended.
