The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City. A children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, the Park House restaurant, “splash fountains,” as well as paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place in which to find solitude with nature or seek community and the company of others. The Myriad Gardens provides an elegant backdrop for events both large and small, ranging from concerts at the Bandshell to intimate weddings in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory. Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. Classes range from story reading, making chocolate, wreath-making workshops to the annual Oklahoma Gardening School and more. Thanks to a multi-million dollar renovation partially funded by the city, as well as a general revitalized interest in a vibrant downtown, the Gardens quickly is becoming an integral symbol of the new Oklahoma City and those who call it home.

There is a lot crammed into the Crystal Bridge section of the gardens (this is the section you have to pay for) and it is very well crafted in taking visitors on a 'journey' through it and the different botanical areas within, from the humid...More

I've always liked the idea of gardens like these in the middle of a city - a great contrast of nature and man... While the gardens here aren't extraordinary, they are well worth checking out. The outdoors areas are free, and there are some nice...More

The botanical garden is small and you go through the inside fairly fast. It was relaxing being around all of the plants and flowers but I wish there were more exhibits. The outside grounds are the most beautiful part of the botanical garden and they...More

I love going to the gardens. I walk through often, but going into the main building is a must do!! Great for families, but I go alone often as it is very therapeutic!

Great place to take a stroll. Tons of wonderful photo locations as well. We took family photos here. Parking is easy to get to as well.

It was a busy day at the gardens because they had a very well attended children's fall activity going on. We only went to the gardens. The indoor plants were nicely displayed but no sign of orchids anywhere, so a bit disappointing for us. The...More

My husband and I were in OKC for our anniversary. We walked around the garden one evening, and the next day we went inside. It was very interesting to see all the different types of plants. Several of them have markers which display the plant's...More

It's worth taking a little walk through this park. Pretty gardens, nice water features, and it seems plenty of activities going on frequently.

There was a burger stand called the Ice House, but I believe it closed. There is some sort of events center there, but I think that it provides catering only. There are a handful of restaurants to the North and East that are... More
