The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public...

The Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the very heart of the metro known as downtown Oklahoma City.

A children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, the Park House restaurant, “splash fountains,” as well as paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place in which to find solitude with nature or seek community and the company of others. The Myriad Gardens provides an elegant backdrop for events both large and small, ranging from concerts at the Bandshell to intimate weddings in the Crystal Bridge Conservatory.

Additionally, the Myriad Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. Classes range from story reading, making chocolate, wreath-making workshops to the annual Oklahoma Gardening School and more.

Thanks to a multi-million dollar renovation partially funded by the city, as well as a general revitalized interest in a vibrant downtown, the Gardens quickly is becoming an integral symbol of the new Oklahoma City and those who call it home.

This is a beautiful place to see amazing plants from all over. The kids I took (ages 6, 9, and 9) all loved it. They were amazed by the size of some of the plants, in awe at seeing a banana and lemon tree, and learned where chocolate and coffee start. The suspended bridge was nice. Overall we enjoyed just... We have been to numerous botanical gardens. The crystal bridge was by far the best that we have seen. The suspended bridge was fantastic. Nothing like walking in the canopy of a tropical forest.

This is a very small botanical garden. They have large, glass cylinder two or three story hot house that takes maybe 30 minutes to go through. There were many interesting tropicals in there however. The outside grounds could have been taken care of better. The pond, water feature, or whatever it was, was nasty looking. If I fell in I... More

Had a beautiful and pleasant visit to all the exhibits . All the water displays and the waterfall are so amazing and unique. The grounds are so well kept and clean. There are so many spots to just stop and relax or meditate awhile.

The outdoor space is free and open to the public; 15 acres of family fun and beauty. The indoor rain forest is beautiful. Many exotic plants, flowers, trees, butterflies, parrots, desert blooms..... The building is easy to navigate, and get around to see the rain forest. The layers of the rain forest are explained and what lives in each area.

My fiancé and I came to the botanical gardens as a recommendation from a family member. We were looking forward to seeing lot's of beautiful plants, flowers, etc. When we walked in it was crowded inside; along with, it being extreme humid inside. Overall, we felt like was not impressive with us personally it may be different for others.

We struggled to find parking and that was the downside to our visit to this attraction. We had then only got limited time as the only available parking was 2 hours. The gardens are pretty and the glass bridge very interesting. My friend is a keen flower photographer and was able to take pictures of some unusual flowers. There is... More

The botanical gardens are small and not much was blooming when we were there, but it is a nice place to take a break in downtown OKC.

Great indoor exhibit-great place to spend an afternoon, enjoying the flowers. Outdoor children's area. Concerts and other events scheduled. Enjoy nature! Kids enjoy the flowers and interesting "critters" inside.

We biked around the city and rode the perimeter of the gardens. From what we saw it looks amazing. There is also a great children's play area.
