Must do!
Jul 2021 • Family
We had so much fun. We stayed from 9-5 and wished we had even more time. There are so many activities and kept the attention of my 6 and 3 year old. It is a must do if you are in OKC.

If you are over 10 this place is LAME

My friend & I decided to check out this museum and it was the worst/lamest science museum I’ve ever been to in my LIFE. I visited a science museum in Philly and thought it would be similar boy was I WRONG!!! If you are over 10 years old/have no kids save your money!! They should call it the CHILDREN’S science museum.

Busy place
Apr 2021 • Family
This was the first time we've been here in years. Thought it would be a fun rainy day activity for our toddler. Well everyone else had the same idea! Haha! The place itself is interesting and has lots of different types of exhibits. You could probably spend a few hours if you went to every station and read the boards. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The other visitors not so much. There was a mask mandate for anyone 11 and older and this was not being enforced. More than 75% of the adults couldn't figure out how to wear their mask. Under your chin, right? Or was it only covering your mouth? Smh. There were a lot of disinfecting stations at least. The exhibits/activities were in need of being straightened and set back up, as well as cleaned up. Maybe if we had been there on a less busy day and not during a pandemic we would have enjoyed ourselves more. Therefore I could only give it an average rating.

Great indoor activity
Mar 2021 • Family
The Science Museum, or Omniplex as it was originally named, is a great place for indoor fun on a rainy day. There are plenty of interactive exhibits for children and enough learning material available to make it interesting for adults.

This is an all day place. There is lots to see and do. Make sure to wait in line for the little city if you have young children. They had a blast and did not want to leave. I think this is one of the few places that caters to all children maybe up to and including the middle school ages. There was something for everyone and I had a good time too as well as the other adults in my group.

Plan for ALL day.

We spent 5 hours here and I *think* we saw everything! Our 3 kids (7, 5, and 3) weren't bored once. The food at the food court was pretty good, as well. The shop left a little to be desired for me. Most things there I could have gotten at the local Wal-mart. I wish they would have had more science-related things to purchase or even souvenirs.

A must see!! This place is huge and filled to the rafters with fun things to see and do. One can easily spend 4 plus hours in this place just seeing everything once. Definitely will be coming back.

Fun for all ages!!

We visited the Science Museum Oklahoma with a 4 year old and 7 year old along. My mother, in her 60s joined us! What we thought would take an hour could have taken 2 full days. It was so much fun! I was also very pleased to see that everyone wore their masks!

Superb Hands-On Science Museum
Jul 2020
Okay, let me put it out there—this is one of the best science museums we have ever been to. There are an abundance of hands-on activities for everyone no matter the age or level of knowledge. Included in the price of the entrance fee are “Science Live”—great for youngsters—presentations and excellent planetarium shows. Just three of the many areas to enjoy include optical illusions, riding a segway, and seeing airplanes. We really enjoyed our time and our teenage grandkids were literally the last to leave at 5 pm closing. Note that entrance is free for ASTC members.
