The short version of my review:

After I weighed the pros and cons of Hurricane Harbor OKC, I have decided that this park deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars. There some big cons and alot of little bugs to work out, but there were more big pros. I loved most of the slides and most everything about the park. The music, new slides, changing stalls in the front restrooms, and stoplights on some slides were a HUGE plus!!! The EXPENSIVE lockers and boring lazy river were HUGE cons!!! Some other cons were the wave pool that closes every 2 hours and no clock on the screen or above the wave pool. How are people suppose to know the time??? I can't say everything on here, but those are the main things.

I am honored to have a such a great park so close to home and I look forward to this park becoming even better! I will definately be back, but I hope to see upgrades, employees doing a better job, and new items that NEED TO BE ADDED!!!

Too expensive and staff was rude and snobby..
Jul 2020 • Family
It's way to expensive for poor people especially people on SSI DISABILTY It's sad when ever cities have theme parks and water parks and people with low incomes can't afford to take their children and grandchildren to them cause they dont make enough money to be able to go .. It's like everything else in the world MONEY AND GREED .I know if I was wealthy I would open a Theme park and water park and everyone would be able to enjoy it cause my prices would be reasonable so the poorer people would be able to enjoy it too

Needs upgrade
Jul 2019
The fact that White Water has been in OKC since 1981 is part of the problem. The park "rides" are pretty dirty and I didn't see any sign of cleaning activities in the six hours we were there. Not being able to bring in food is understandable, but prices on admission have only gone up and food prices are exhorbitant. We were there on a middle of the week trip, but the crowds were huge. Nearing the end of summer, so everyone must have been taking advantage of their season passes! Safari Joe's in Tulsa is much cleaner, smaller (but with all the same attractions) and the crowds are much smaller.

White water visit
Jul 2019
We attended on a weekday so was not as crowded. We rented a cabana and that gave us a designated seating area in the shade. Pricey for 6 people was about 500 with Cabana rental but that included food, tubes, and a locker.

6 flags is horrible
Aug 2019 • Family
We got our season passes in December as usual

*Water pressure was way too strong on slides
*No bring a friend
*Dirty, over all: bathrooms, tables, lazy river and food lines
*service for food service was terrible
*General decline of park
*unsupervised rude children
*unattentive life guards(were told of a stuck tube in the yellow slide). Response was , we know, but didn't close the slide!!
* Unfortunately, I can't recommend this park. No more 6flags water park passes for this family

We took are son to the water park before school started for after school had started in the city and all I can say is I had not been there in several years but we will not be back. Way to expensive and the meal plan was a complete joke. And had to wait forever for everything and were out of 95% of stuff for the snacks. Are some was not very happy either but there were some other kids that had not supervion and just running wild and were mean.

Kids had fun

Kids had fun. All adults did too. The place has gotten way to expensive since six flags has bought it. I think it’s a bit ridiculous... but still a lot of fun.

Annual summer outing huge disappointment!
Aug 2019 • Family
The park continues to deteriorate every year. Due to the high prices, lack of maintenance, and changes to the park, we will not be going back next year.

I got our tickets through triple A, so I didn’t have to pay the processing fee, but the prices were still higher than last year. I expected the park to be nice, I expected all the rides to be open and I expected rides to be in good condition.

By the lazy river, bushes needed trimming, and the dolphin, who usually sprayed water in the river, was not working, trash was seen throughout the park and the rapids was not open (my favorite ride) In general, I saw several repairs that needed to be made. The paint has worn off the wood. The big kahuna ride had wasp nests under the landings on each floor. At the top, the fenced section had a board that was not attached at the bottom, you could see leaks in various tubings and some of the wood was decayed or splitting from the bolts that were used to patch up and repair various places. I’m addition, the life preservers held by the life guards were in bad condition! The plastic was worn off the foam piece and in one case about to rip in half.

The food prices were outrageous. In the past, we opted to take a cooler, check it in and then retrieve it when we were ready to eat. This year, the picnic area was shut down. We had to leave the cooler in the car and ate in the hot parking lot. We missed the picnic area, which was shaded, and the picnic tables.

The bathrooms were awful! Standing water, bad smell and unkept.

We were so disappointed that this once fantastic place is such a disaster. We joked about it being an abandoned park soon.

Insanely overpriced
Jul 2019 • Family
It’s a business, so of course the game is to make money. But they’re really pushing their luck at what is a fairly modest facility.

Day tickets are $41.99. Parking is $20. Lockers are $15 (and they’re small). Two small bottles of water are an eye-watering $10 (plus Tax). You are of course banned from taking any drinks or food inside. I wonder why.

If you buy in advance online any savings are largely offset by a $9.99 “Processing fee.”

The park itself felt as if it needed upgrading, especially with such an extravagant pricing policy. There were signs of poor maintenance in many areas, and the water wasn’t particularly clean (the Lazy River was murky to say the least).

The only way this is remotely good value is if you’re local with a pass and visit often - not much use for out of town tourists such as us.

It would be OK if the prices reflected what’s on offer, but they don’t. They’ve pushed the price gouging to the limit and then some. $200 for three of us at a faded mini-size water park can only be described as terrible value - we rented a car for eight days for only a little more.

If I pay top dollar I expect top quality. This isn’t even close. The answer is for people to vote with their feet.

Bring your sunscreen

We have season passes. The kids love the slides I don't think there is enough shade for us observers I do enjoy the lazy river. The food lines were crazy two lines to get your food
