Relaxing and laid back escape overlooking the city skyline. Lots of families and children enjoying the park as there were kid and family games to make an outing. Picnic tables provide eating areas, food is available especially when events are scheduled and food trucks serve.
Prices are very reasonable for day and season passes. We paid $6 each for about 6 revs on the ferris wheel.
I remember seeing the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica Pier in California when I lived there and viewed it from the shore or from my fishing boat in the bay.
It was still daylight so the lights weren't on. I think the best time is later in the evening when the 100,000 colorful LEDs light up the skyline along the Oklahoma River.

For 6 bucks you get to go around and see the views of the OKC skyline as well as track the river. They have a cute little park area with hammocks for a brief respite and a darling concession stand or bring your own food for a picnic. They sanitized as you got out and gave a squirt of hand sanitizer when you got off.

Wheeler Ferris Wheel is set up in a nice park-like setting across the river from downtown. There is a really nice trail that goes along the river with nice views of the city. For only $6 you can get a nice ride on the wheel. Compared to other cities, this is pretty cheap. I enjoyed the views and had a good time relaxing in the park.

I was so excited to finally come downtown to ride this Ferris wheel. It was early afternoon and there was maybe one other car full of people on the wheel. 6.00 for adults. 10.00 for all-day.
Ok, so we walk up to the wheel. No line. There are two young gals running it and we said, “Give us a good, long ride!” One of them said it was 5-8 minutes. Well, let me tell you…..it was 3 revolutions and that was that! What???? We were on there maybe 4 minutes! I wish I had started a stop watch. I was not happy about it at all. I’m still mad about it several hours later. On the plus side, it was very nice. Bucket was not old and rickety as I expected and it was very smooth. Views were fantastic but look FAST, it’s over before you know it! If you want more than a 4 minute ride, splurge on the 10.00 ticket and ride the d@mn thing all day.

It was a great ride. Wonderful view of the city. $6 a ticket to go around 3 times was a little steep. I was disappointed that their was not a price break for senior citizens, military, or special needs. Come on! This is Oklahoma. We are supposed to be the state with the Oklahoma Standard. Please review your prices.

I am traveling around alone, and thought it would be fun to ride this because I’ve never been on a Farris wheel. Well ya know what? As an adult you are not aloud to ride alone, for “safety” reasons. (Which they couldn’t explain) Like really? How stupid. But at the same time you can bring a tiny child, and somehow makes it safer for you?
I can think of a million more dangerous stuff to do, I’ve never encountered a more worthless policy.

Took family to ride the wheel. The ride is closed on Sunday. Terrible for family fun on weekend. Nothing more to say. Thanks for sooooo much fun...

Water front, paths along the river, hammocks to just hang around in. You can play various games there or just relax. The ferris wheel ride would be great at night to see the city skyline! We did not stay that long. You can buy one ticket or an all day pass!

I had heard of this Ferris wheel prior to going, but happened to be passing by on a Saturday afternoon and decided to make a stop! Our 7 year old had a blast rising the Ferris wheel and eating at the food trucks available there. They also have yard games like corn hole and frisbees available to play with. We ended up spending a couple of hours there just hanging out. It’s a free area to explore close to the river, relax on the hammocks and the wheel ride was very inexpensive. It was a great way to spend an evening and would recommend an Okie in the area to stop and enjoy!

This was a fun quick stop for me and my family. The OKC sign with the skyline in the background made for great pictures. I didn’t ride the Ferris wheel but everyone who came off of it had a smile on their face.
