Stopped off 1-40, exit 221 easy on and off. Complimentary queso, salsa and chips. Queso is light yellow, very mild. The salsa is fresh. They mix together well. Both are complimentary. J got pork tips, they were very tender and cooked in a green Chile...More

A fabulous little pocket park honoring Woody Guthrie, whose hometown is Okemah, Oklahoma. Woody signature is in the cement a block or so south.

This I cute little patch of green in the middle of town. Its kept up by local volunteers. The picture doesnt due it justice. Great place to take pictures when visiting for Woodyfest!

I guess if you're a big Woody Guthrie fan you should visit. We stopped because we stayed in this town on a road trip.

That's about it. I'm glad I saw it but it sure is a tiny space. It doesn't feel like an "attraction" but it's cute and it's there.

I love Okemah, it's an awesome little town with some neat history. I come every yer for the Woody fest and it's always a great time.

This space has potential and I'm happy Woody's hometown is embracing his memory, but this little park could do with a few less engraved bricks. The murals were nice, especially the larger one on the east side. The statue itself isn't weathering well. Definitely worth...More
